Overdue and Overpacked II: The LaLas Take on the World: EPILOGUE ON PAGE 58

Thank you.

I went away for the summer before your last day installment so I made sure to read it tonight upon my return. Then I found your epilogue.

The hair on my arms (and toes) are standing straight up. Your words in this final installment were truly an epiphany for me after this week.

While you might be able to check your views to see how many eyes have seen your report there is no way to measure how many hearts you have touched. I want you to know you have touched mine and reminded me through one of my favorite mediums in the world why I am so Blessed to have the incredible family I do.

Tonight for the first time all summer when we tucked the kids in we played the name a character game we like to play. Then I threw in a new twist with "It is your last night at Epcot and you want to.........." with each persons answer we had a quiet peaceful easy feeling and by the time we finished with all the parks everything in our house was right again.

Within 5 minutes both girls were sleeping and three hours later as I read your epilogue it all came together. This is our time. As a dear friend shared with me when they are little the days are long but the years are short.

Our Disney trips lets us reveal in each other and take one large snapshot of who we are together and then we place that in our hearts forever. It is an amazing bond which highlights in suspended time everything this family is and is intended to be. We share so much when the everyday is stripped away and we experience life with the World as our stage instead of the "real world" always trying to upstage our life.

Thank you for sharing your gift of storytelling and enlightening me with your insight. You have touched my heart just when I needed it most and now I will be sure to take this feeling back into the real world with me.

Guess this is why we love TR it keeps WDW real so we can feel those emotions we love so much over and over.

Thank you LaLa.

Truer words have never been spoken. Seems like you've got a pretty smart friend. Jake&Crew, thank you so much for that sweet, sweet post. It made MY hair stand on end. Which is something that usually only happens when I'm reading about The Many Adventures of ZZUB and His Poo.

In all seriousness, it touches my heart to know that anything that I wrote within this neverending, pointless thread (NOTheNeverendingPointlessThread) has made you stop and reflect on your own lives and families. Or recall some particularly fond moments you've shared with them. Snapshots of your own. Even for just a second or two. So thank you again for your sweet words. I really appreciate them. Now go hug those babies of yours while the day is still long.

Tanya90210: Thank you! Thanks for reading along and thanks for responding.

Lexmelinda: You know, I STILL haven't printed this bad boy out yet. I called Tarjay and WalMart to find out if they had 789 ink cartridges in stock (the amount I figure it'll take) and they laughed in my face. I'm taking that as a no.

You ended this report as if on cue.

How FREAKY is that?! I've officially scared myself now.

God bless the LaLas.

Thank you for that, Tink-ing. And thanks for YOUR sweet post as well. I'm glad you stumbled upon our little adventure and I'm glad that through my trip report, you were able to discover the likes of Mel, NicoleMarie, and The Sweetest Mommy in the World. But...you read ALL FOUR of ZZUB's?! I bet that took a really long time. I keep meaning to read his, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Just can't seem to get into them. Too many big words. KWIM? Anyway, I'm glad you found your way to their trip reports through this one. Because they're all AMAZING writers. Let me know if you figure out that whole getting paid to DIS thing. Cause I'd on that like Mr. Frick on a Honey Baked Ham.

Or a preteen girl on an "I LOVE TROY" backpack.

Joan Rivers on a plastic surgeon.

ZZUB on a roll of Charmin Extra Strong.

Chappie on a Top Gun Special Collector's Edition DVD

In other news, the kids are now back in school. Which is hard to believe. The girl finally has her very first loose tooth and she's happier than a tornado in a trailer park about it. We're once again knee deep in homework, dance lessons and football practices. Yep, it's back to organized chaos around the LaLa homefront. Which is just as it should be.

We're currently planning our next respite. Our next vacation. Our next break from the madness that has descended upon our home. Needless to say, we're really looking forward to it. God willing, we expect to have a very yellow time.

A very yellow time indeed.

This made me laugh. Hard. And then wonder if I shouldn't be grossed out. Instead.

Yay!!! I'll certainly keep my eyes open for that one!

And in the meantime, if I figure out how to add 'Professional DISer' to my resume, I'll send you a PM. :thumbsup2

Just wanted to let you know that you have another fan here. I am more of a lurker than a poster, but I have read both of your trip reports and enjoyed them very much. Can't wait for your next one.

Hi
Just wanted to say I've followed the Lalas too, through both trip reports, and have missed your posts so much!
I'm sure there are loads of us waiting for your husband to agree to another trip!
Hope you talk him into it soon!;)

La, my girl, I printed half, then read the rest here. Now I'm gonna print the other half to read to my kids.

Turn up the volume: you're simply the best.
