My wife and I took an adults-only trip to WDW on 9/30 - 10/4 to experience the F&W Festival. We had a great time, great weather, minimal crowds - a really fun time but now I'm riddled with guilt for not taking the kids with us.
The only cure I could find for my guilt was to schedule another trip to WDW with the kids! I finished up all the reservations and ADRs last night so we're set to go back in January (1/9 - 1/15).

This time, however, we're not telling the kids that we're going. We're just going to surprise them. We're going to drive (call me crazy but I actually like the journey) so I figure we can tell them we're going to grandma's house and then just keep going. I figure by the time we hit Cincinnati they'll start to catch on.
I recommend this type of guilt therapy to everyone! It works wonders!

Me just wanting to go again and escape the nasty January weather in Ohio may have had a little something to do with it.
hey I'd use any excuse to go to Disney too. I convinced DH to go early Feb for our anniversary and to escape the cold and it backfired on us. Was freezing and even flurred in Orlando.
at WDW and left my stepson with his grandparents.
