Over the river and through the FUN!

We went and had our 4D ultrasound done today. Here are some pictures of the little one we will be greeting in 11 weeks.

She could be dreaming of Disney World with a smile like this one.

Also on a very happy note she is actually measuring a few days smaller than where we are. I had only gained 4 pounds since my last appointment 4 weeks ago and that included Christmas. After looking at my weight gain, the ultrasound, and other measurements my doctor feels very confident that we won't have a 10 pound baby in April. She said instead of a candy bar every day she recommends one every other day, but other than that I should be fine. So that was definitely happy news.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congratulations!! Those are such beautiful pictures of Bellaree

Hi -- I am back. I have been off the boards for a couple of weeks... been going through some drama at home. three of my best friends are getting separated. I am so sad... on a happier note, I just got a puppy on Sunday so he has been occupying most of my free time.
Pictures are great as usual. I cannot wait until I get to go again in June. i feel like it has been forever since I have been to disney -- two months..lol

Jill,

Those baby pictures are incredible. I never got to see one of those when I was pregnant. I am glad she is healthy and not TOO big. I can't imagine a 10 pound baby. Both of mine were right at 7 pounds and that was big enough for me. Good luck with the last weeks of your pregnancy, I hope everything goes well.

a good spot for that would be anywhere from where the time board is (you know that big board on the right as you are walking towards the hat that lists the waits for rides and show times) up to the hat. but be careful about getting close to the hat because once the parade starts, they kind of bring in the line a little bit and you could lose your spot if you have rude people around you that get in front of you. we almost sat there and i asked a CM about it because they way it was taped off was kind of odd. she said we could sit there but she wouldn't because when they bring the crowd in for the parade everyone gets all jumbled and you may lose your spot. i would stay towards the time board. i know toy story is the first one that comes through (which i'm sure you know too) and that's where the beginning of the parade stops the first time.

you know, i just went back and looked at mine and erica's pics from when we were there in september and we sat DIRECTLY ACROSS from the time board. we were at the very end of toy story/beginning of monsters, inc. so if i were you i'd walk past the time board about 20 yards and you should be good. :thumbsup2

We'll go up a little ways from the time board then. I knew the general area, because we saw it from afar, but exacts are good. It also stops close to the Sounds Dangerous place, so we'll get one or the other.

One of the perks of being a member of the DIS family: getting great advice and information to get the most out of your trip! Thanks, Dawn!

It's Friday, It's Friday!   :woohoo:

School day is over. Hallelujah!

Jill - what amazing photos of your baby girl! :goodvibes And great news on her size. :thumbsup2

She was happy to hear the size may be smaller than originally thought!

Mine too! The best Fridays! I'm even going to send Mickey a deposit today to help fuel my Disney addiction. :thumbsup2

I'm still treading water, but I hope to be paying ahead a little by summertime. The Thanksgiving trip, a new water heater, and some other incidentals have me in the hole.

I'm very glad for you, though. It feels great to put more money down on a trip so you don't have such a big bill all at once.

We're glad you're back. We've missed you. Since Julie (Swans) moved, she hasn't been around either. I hope all is well with her.

Sorry your friends are breaking up. I know that is hard on everyone involved.

What did you name the puppy?
Do we get a picture?

Thanksgiving does seem like forever ago, doesn't it?

That's me, too - seven pounders. Brooklynn was eight, which sounded big to me, but in reality it is still very small. When you're holding that eight pounds of joy, it doesn't seem heavy at all! :goodvibes

I'll have more pictures later this evening or in the morning.
Have an exciting or a restful evening, whichever you prefer.
Either way, make it a safe and happy one!

Beautiful Pics Jill! Was Brooklynn excited to see them?

Jill, I'll let you field this one, since I wasn't there.

After leaving Ariel, we went to the Main Street Bakery.

Luscious things we could have gotten.

We met up with a girl from Jill's work. She was taking her son for his first haircut at the barber shop. While they talked, I took pictures.

It was now mid-morning, and we had planned to leave the park before it got busy. This was pretty much supposed to be a down day, just doing whatever, since we knew there would be a bazillion people trying to get on rides.

We went over to the Grand Floridian.

We looked around the gift shop.

From Grand Floridian, we went to Downtown Disney.

Such lovely photos yet again. :goodvibes Those goodies from the bakery look soooo good! I've yet to make it over to the Grand Floridian to look around - some day.

I love the pics, MeMom! I'm getting myself all psyched up for next week when I can finally get my shop on!

I was thinking that too!! Hopefully it will still be there in about 2 years. Course I hope I remember to look for it. Memom will just have to take pictures of it over and over again on her many trips so I will remember.

Beautiful Pics Jill! Was Brooklynn excited to see them?

She was not nearly as excited to watch her on tv as she was to sit right next to the ultrasound tech and hold the pictures as they came out. Every time a new picture printed out she would point at it and tell her, "There's another picture." It kept her busy and happy and allowed John and I to watch the screen without toddler interruption for 20 minutes.

Ya just had to put a picture of the elusive apple turnover didn't you?!?!?! Do you know what that means? It means you will be bringing one back to me from Disney in March.

I missed the update from Jill the other day, so I need to say, OMG those sonogram pictures are precious!! I was really squeeling and showing my BF them because they were so cute.

MeMom, those Main Street Bakery pictures were literally making my mouth water. OMG it all looks good, how do you pick just one thing to eat?!

I agree! :)
You're going to have so much fun!

There are so many things to choose from. Sometimes we buy something to eat there and something to take with us for later.

Yes, you need to try to get over to the Grand Floridian. It is elegant and beautiful inside, and the beach is a nice place to sit and just bask in the glory of being there.

I love the pics, MeMom! I'm getting myself all psyched up for next week when I can finally get my shop on!

I guess that means you're feeling better, then, since you're able to think about some shopping.

You will be there next week! :cool1:

cool! i've never seen the inside of this before.

the treats from main street bakery looked so yummy! drool.

Actually, I think it is called the car barn, not the horse barn.
My mistake.

Yep, the goodies were goooood!

Are you still in Atlanta tonight?

I adore the first light fixture picture, it is really pretty! :upsidedow

Aw, shucks! You adore all light fixtures, but I'll still thank you.

I was thinking that too!! Hopefully it will still be there in about 2 years. Course I hope I remember to look for it. Memom will just have to take pictures of it over and over again on her many trips so I will remember.

I would like to be able to go twice a year, as a rule, and maybe three times during some years. If I could make a summer trip and a holiday trip - either Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day...just anything where they will be having special events and decorations, I'll be happy. I know we can't go like we did when we went like five times in a year, but it sure was nice to do that!

Now that Brooklynn has to pay for a plane seat, and after this summer, she'll have to pay for a park ticket, it'll add a lot to the cost. But, if she and all my other grandkids to come can grow up and look back on great memories of all of their years of Disney trips, that will be worth the efforts, extra work, and money to make them happen. I read trip reports where people tell about going to WDW every summer for as long as they can remember, and they talk about the sweet memories they have of grandparents and cousins and good times, and I want that for my family.

We were all typing at once, it looks like.

Hi, Jilly baby!
I'm so glad you can Dis at home now!

You know I ordered the apple and they gave me the cherry.
You also know I don't speak up and tell people about their mistakes.
The cherry wasn't as good as the apple, in my opinion.

I figured you'd be screaming for a chocolate croissant!

Don't you love the little smiling pictures?
I can't wait until she breaks free of that little space, though.
Those pictures, as sweet as they are, are a bit hard on a claustrophobic.

I usually pick the apple turnover or the banana bread
Jill usually gets a cinnamon roll or a chocolate croissant.
I want to get that French Toast Loaf some day, because I bet it is wonderful!

Yummy bakery pictures....I can just smell the wonderful goodness!

I like the frame as well! I have a little one that might need that too!
