Over-the-door hangers

Many of you have mentioned over-the-door shoe organizers to hold toiletries in the bathrooms. We have travel kits something like that which hang. Are there hooks on the back of the bathroom doors or elsewhere in the bathroom where these could hang? Or might it be a good idea to bring an over-the-door hook rack with us - you know, those kind that have 2 or 3 or 4 hooks?

Can't answer your question but have one of my own. I too have seen all the hoopla over the over the door shoe organizers. Twice I've brought them to WDW with each one being a different one and both had hooks that would not fit over the top of the door and allow us to close the door we had it hung on. What style of shoe holder is being used?

I thought I also read somewhere that magnetic hooks work too. I'm trying to find the thread but the seach isn't cooperating with me.

I don't think the magnetic hooks are strong enough to hold the entire bag...but you did remind me that I can search for photos of the rooms to see if there're hooks on the doors...going off to do that now.

On the Magic there are hooks (not really hooks, more like a knob for towels, etc) on the inside of the bathroom doors. I brought an over the door show organizer and didn't need it as DH & I each have toiletry kits we could hang.

We used an over-the door organizer and hung it in the closet on our 3 night cruise - but I have a feeling we will need the space for our 7 night cruise! I'd love to hear how others do it!

The OTD shoe holder I picked up at Target had hooks with it that fit over the door. We have never had an issue with them fitting or staying up the entire cruise. There is one knob on the back of the door on the Magic & Wonder.

I have one that is canvas with mesh pockets and I think I got it at Target. The hooks are pretty flat so I've never had a problem with it fitting over the door. It doesn't fit well since it's made for a door that is a couple of inches thick (like the doors in your house) but that's okay, it doesn't fall off or anything.

I spent extra on this one because I got one at a dollar store once and it fell apart immediately on the ship. Now the canvas one stays in my "cruise box" ready for the next trip.

Yes ours was from Target also and we were on the Magic and used it without a problem
The door easily closed with it on there.

Same here, and we've also used ours on the Wonder and the Dream without a problem. It has been great to use when traveling with the children over the years. I'm sure the room host appreciated it too.
