This is the thing that always gets me excited for our upcoming trips. Sort of feel like once I purchase the plane tickets, we're "locked in" to the trip. Got some nice rates and times for our flights as well.

4 roundtrip tickets with fees/taxes/etc for IND to MCO.......$681.60
flight down: non-stop 7:00am - 9:12am
flight back: non-stop 8:50pm - 11:08pm

So it looks like if everything goes as scheduled, we'll have a pretty decent amount of time in the parks on arrival and departure days. Hopefully, wear the boys out on departure day so the sleep on the flight home.

:rotfl:

Wow that is an amazing price for your flight....and the schedule ain't bad either :thumbsup2 Who are you flying with? We just booked our March trip about 3 weeks ago which also included our flight and we paid close to a thousand dollars for all 4 of us. We are like you, we like to lock in our flights as soon as we can, we try to get the best deal at the time of booking, eventhough I know it will probably go down as it gets closer, but you never know especially since we are going during Spring Break :confused3. Congratulations on your trip :goodvibes

We're flying on AirTran. Have used them a few times now and like the service. And we really like that they are one of the "partners" with ME, so we don't have to worry about the bags on the way back and can check in at the resort.

I was fully expecting to shell out more like a $1,000 for this trip. My brother has been talking about how their airfare (Charleston, SC) has really skyrocketed lately, but they also lost their low-fare carrier.

I figure I'll have to add another $30 or $60 to our cost before it's said and done. Not sure yet if we're going to have 1 or 2 checked bags ($15 each way).

:woohoo:That is a awesome price. I looked at Airtran website and they do not fly out of Birmingham, Al...so I thought about driving to Atlanta, GA and then flying and my flight for 4 people from Atlanta Ga to Orlando MCO was $1005.60 which is $1 more than Southwest and I can fly from my city. Maybe that deal applies to certain cities..
Anyway.. WAY TO GO:cool1:

I'm like you, and booked my trip with AA 8 months in advance. It ended up being the wrong choice since the buy 4 get 3 free deal came out so I tried to move the dates to get those 3 extra days only to find there's a change fee of $150 bucks for each passenger:scared1:

SO we're only going for 5 days :(

We're going to have fun but I wanted to pass on the story for anyone who may benefit.
