Over $200 a night for mods end of March???

I am looking for a co worker that wants to go down for 4 nights March 25th. She does not have AAA and the rate coming up on the Disney website is $887.60 for 4 nights at a moderate. That's $221.90 a night for a mod!! Is that right??

That rate sounds like a water view or king bed rate. The rate during Peak Season for water view or king is $199 per night. The website almost always defaults to this upgraded view or room. The standard rate is $175...so, your co-worker can save $24 per night plus tax just by going with a standard room.

I would tell your co-worker to call Disney using this toll free number...1-800-828-0228. I would ask for the AAA rate to see if there are any available rooms at that rate. The rate for AAA on a standard room should be 15% off on a Moderate room which should be $148.75 plus tax per night. After he/she confirms that the room is booked at that rate...then, he/she can join AAA. I'm sure the membership fee for AAA will be less than the $100+ that he/she is saving.
