Outside places to see Wishes or Illuminations

I understand that there are romantic or quiet places to watch Wishes or Illuminations outside the parks. Can someone list the alternatives for me? We're staying off-site, and I'm not familiar with all the resort names. Would they allow us to park at a resort? And if it's really cold, and there good indoor places to go. Or even parking lots where we can see it from our car?

Thanks so much. We'll be with a group, and we'll need some quiet time alone!

The beach at the Poly or the Grand Floridian are nice areas. Most people love watching Wishes from the beach at the Poly. As for Indoor areas, make a dinner ressie for California Grill kinda late (like one hour or less before Wishes start). You can watch Wishes from your dining table.
