Since Disney searches bags before entry into the parks, does Disney allow outside food in the parks? I'm not talking major food. Just some likes packages of cheese and crackers and juice pouches.

technically no, but in actual fact they don't mind at all. We had a small soft cooler bag in the basket of our stroller every day, it just had some juice, bags of cheerios, cheese sticks, etc in it. And it was looked in every day by security and then we were waved through. I didn't take a full picnic as we like to eat in the parks, but with kids sometimes you need a drink or a snack 'now' and so it's important to have something handy

We always had outside food with us. Crackers, trial mix, fruit snacks, our own water bottles and the like. None of the security personnel seemed to mind. I don't think they want you bringing a large ice chest and a meal for 10, but you are even allowed to bring small tote ice chests and carry them or put them into a locker.

I agree with everyone, they dont encourage this, but I have never seen the food nazi make you throw it out or anything, I say go for it.

Our daughter is very picky and goes through food phases, so we did bring in some of her favorites- bananas, raisins, nutri grain bars and no one ever said anything. One thing we did that I am SO happy about and will definitely do again- we used Avent bottles when she was a baby and they sell a converter pack to make it a sippy cup. What we did was fill 3-4 of the bottles and keep them in a bottle cooler, with the spillproof flat lids on them and we also filled one bottle topped with the sippy cup spout. When she finished the first cup we just grabbed another one out and switched the top. That way we didn't have to run around looking for appropriate beverages for a toddler (we don't let her have soda, and walking around with milk in the heat seemed ill advised at best). It worked really well for us, I don't know if you're traveling with young children or not but I hope it helps someone else :)
