I know, I know, this subject has been beaten to death but I think I might have stumbled upon a loophole? Maybe, maybe? lol

If you get your ceremony floral from an outside vendor, can you get it moved to your in-park reception site? I know Disney floral may make you add something (maybe like vase or holder or something?) but I'm sure it'll be less than going through Disney floral for the entire set-up.

Just a thought. I hope this can help anyone if it's possible to begin with! :goodvibes

Hmmm..I would like to know the answer to this as well. My PS is next week - that will be one of the questions I will need to ask.

We had an in park reception (MGM - fantasmic/Coaster/Muppets courtyard) and while we used Disney Floral (OMG It was amazing and they worked with us on the budget) from what I understand only our "personal floral" could go with us if we used an outside vendor. My interpretation was that if we had our unity candle display done by an outside vendor Disney would not have moved it.

Best person to ask - your planner :)

Here's a photo of our floral from the ceremony just in case you were wondering what Disney can do - every piece was reused at our reception!

Outside florist for in-park reception?

MariaLovesJon, I had an in-park reception (Disney's Hollywood Studios' Great Movie Ride). I was told that I had to use Disney Floral for all of my floral and decor needs. They did an absolutely lovely job with everything, and I thought the cost was reasonable. I was definitely pleased.

According to Disney's official FTW website, that still holds true today. But you can certainly ask the FTW folks if they will waive it for you. It absolutely never hurts to ask.

Before I close, here is what is stated on the FTW website for the in-park venue that I used 3-1/2 years ago (click here):

Good luck, MariaLovesJon<3, and please let us know what they tell you. That would be good information for everyone on this board to have. I know that I am considering another in-park reception for my next VR. ;)

Chipscinderelly, your photos are lovely. I'm glad to hear that you liked Disney Floral's work, too.

Did you have a PJ or Trip Report? Your wedding looked lovely!

Topsy - not on the DIS due to privacy and other reasons (ok and the fact I found an amazing community :goodvibes ) but yes, I belong to another Disney Wedding forum that is private where I have our details posted.

Thanks for the compliments!

Oh, wow, I didn't know my thread had more posts added recently! I'm glad it did though!

Chipscinderelly: Your flowers were so pretty! I'm so happy that Disney Florist could do everything you wanted and on budget too!

Janet2K: Your reception was so beautiful! I feel like I actually went even though I've only seen the pictures  .

MariaLovesJon<3, you're very kind. Please let us know what you find out. Even though I would most likely use Disney Floral if I went through with another in-park event, it would still be nice to know what my options are. Good luck with your planning!

One final thing that I wanted to expand upon since Chipscinderelly briefly mentioned it in regards to her own event...

Disney Floral was wonderful to work with. I simply told my Floral Event Manager what I did and did not want in the way of floral/decor items for my event. When my Floral Proposal arrived shortly after my Planning Session, I was blown away by how realistic it was. My Floral Event Manager had most definitely listened very closely to what had transpired during our meeting. What a professional -- and personable -- Cast Member to work with. To this day, I respect her judgement highly and hope to work with her again (if she's still with Disney) in the future.
