Outside Engagement Photographers for MK and DHS?

Hey there! My fiancé and I are heading to WDW, and we're hoping to take a few cute photos as our 'Save the Dates'! Lucky for us, we'll be there when Cinderella's coach is on display at DHS so we'd love to get a photo there, and BATB is my favourite movie, so we'd love to get a photo in front of the Belle mural at BOG.

And of course, one in front of Cinderella's castle

I've read so many different opinions that outside photographers ARE allowed in the parks now (Including MK), then some people have said that engagement photography is NOT allowed, and some say it's a grey area because it used to be banned, now it's not as of recent, and certain Orlando photographers won't take photos inside the parks so they don't get banned from being on Disney's list of preferred wedding vendors (totally fair).

So, does anyone know what the actual rule is? And furthermore, any photographers people know that DO shoot in the parks?

You basically summed it up. A few years ago, Disney decreed that nothing could be photographed in-park (weddings, e-shoots, etc) unless it was by their photography team, period. In 2013 they lifted this rule for wedding events happening in-park (in return the couple pay a media fee for one CM per vendor person to chaperone them around while you're in park). The fine print is that Disney has the right to revoke any outside photographer's privileges to shoot in-park events at any time. For many photographers, shooting an engagement session or family session in the parks isn't worth the risk of being prohibited from future weddings or possibly messing up their relationship with DFTW.

I know Randy Chapman will shoot in-park, as of recently. I know The Roots and Regina Hymen (off the top of my head) will not.

Randy Chapman! We used him in the MK for our shoot and he did an excellent job!

Hmmmm,

I emailed him a few days ago then yesterday I got a mail delivery notice in my inbox saying my message failed to reach him, and the server would try for two more days...... I guess we'll see?

Anyone have any other suggestions if Randy does not work out?

Thirteenth Moon are also pretty commonly used Disney photographers who will shoot engagement pictures in the parks. I don't know their price range, though.
