Outside Disneyland Good Eats?

Id love to find some healthy options outside of Disney Parks and I’m happy to Uber or use Uber Eats. Any organic places? Or just more whole healthy foods in general? Salads? Small plates? Good Happy Hours ;-)
Any input appreciated!

How much money are you willing to budget for this? OC has lots of healthier options, but truly organic, sustainable, healthy can get expensive fast. (And, as you can guess, most people don't come to DLR to eat healthy, so options do tend to be farther away from the parks.) Do a search on Yelp! to see if anything interests you. You might want to visit the Anaheim Packing District (think upscale food court).
At DLR, for better quality food and small plates, we like CCR (lounge and dining room) and NR. And if you want to eat healthy outside the parks, stay away from Captain Kidd's!! LOL.

Money isn’t the biggest issue lol I’ve heard the Captain Kids is to be avoided. What is CCR? Napa Rose IS good but I’ll only ear there once I’m sure.

I googled but not knowing the area is a handicap. I drove last time and stayed very off site. My navigation took me through a really sketchy area...I’d like to avoid that! I did find a place in Newport Beach for our beach day. Lunch about 15.00 per person. I’m ok with that!

There's a couple of vegan restaurants nearby. We have intended to visit, but havent. One is called Healthy Junk. I don't remember the other, but it was in the resort area.

Also, Fire and Ice is a Mongolian WOK restaurant and I would think it would be as healthy as you choose it to be.

Healthy junk lol. I’ll look into it.

Anaheim Packing District would definitely be the closest. If you wanted to make an afternoon out of it. The Lab and Camp in Costa Mesa, as well as SoCo have some really neat places that fit what you are looking for. Those would be a drive though, maybe 20ish minutes no traffic.

Thanks, no rental car so Uber/Lyft will be my go to.

Oh, right. They will get you there no problem, they are very popular places in OC. I just meant they are a bit of a drive away, not around the corner.

Roy's, CPK, Cheesecake Factory (small plates menu has healthy options). All at Gardenwalk.

Oh got it. I think Anaheim Packing House will be fun.
Any idea if there is a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s nearby?

I thought about this exact same thing (e.g. Native Foods at The Camp), but it seemed far for just a meal, especially with the OP not having a car.

Will Sprouts do? There's one in Fullerton, straight up Harbor, about 15+ minutes north of the parks, I think, on the west side.

UVA Bar in Downtown Disney has a pretty good range of food and a great place for people watching. Further away than what you will travel but we really enjoy True Food Kitchen in Santa Monica. Not worth an Uber from DLR but certainly worth checking out if you are ever out that way.

I haven't been to the Packing District but that was the first thing that sprang to mind

See if anything on the Anaheim Packing District's merchant list interests you: http://anaheimpackingdistrict.com/merchants. APD is about 10 minutes away from DLR by surface streets. You might like Umami Burger (right next to APD): https://www.umamiburger.com/locations/anaheim/. They have veggie and vegan options, good salads, and good quality ingredients.

We visited the packing district on our last trip, absolutely loved it! It has everything you are looking for, small plates, organic, and a good place for happy hour :)

Love it! I’ll make a point of getting there a few times this trip!

Yeah I think no rental will have its drawbacks regarding food. I’ll google it. Maybe I’ll end up with a rental car a day or two in the middle of my stay.

. I have no idea. What is Sprouts? I know I found an awesome local place in San Diego that was perfection. Organic wine, organic chocolate, organic Pre-sliced veggies. Everything this granola girl could ask for! :-)

Uva Bar is good. Downtown Disney.

You might like Thuyền Viên Restaurant which is an all vegetarian Vietnamese place with fake meat dishes. We do.

Sprouts is a "Farmers Market" store. They sell some of the same stuff you would find at Whole Foods. They have a bulk area and a lot of organic foods.
