Outlets--International Drive or Vineland?

Planning on a half-day at the outlets on our trip next week, and can't figure out the difference in the Premium Outlets at I Drive and Vineland. Which is better? Are they the same? What stores are different?

We have a car, so distance isn't an issue. If I remember correctly, the Vineland outlets are right by Disney, but the International Drive outlets are only a few minutes away. TIA for any suggestions!

The I Drive one is bigger and presumably has more stuff. I don't know how much overlap there is because for some reason we've never gone to both on the same trip. If there's a really good deal you think you might want, grab it. Youngest daughter decided to take up pin trading about halfway through our last trip, and we went back thinking we could get the $1 lanyards we'd seen earlier, and they'd been cleared out. I think a CM said they'd only lasted a day. I'm sure there are e-bay sellers that check the outlet stores regularly.

Thanks. We've only done I Drive before, but I thought I'd check out Vineland if it is closer AND better. Think we'll stick to I Drive!

We went to the one on Vineland yesterday....got there about 15 min after it opened and the parking lot was already 90% full. When we left 2 hours later the lot was filled with cars circling around like vultures and the line of cars coming into the place was stretched for quite a ways. IF you decide to go to the one on Vineland I would strongly suggest paying the $10 for valet parking....you have to take into consideration the $10 bill vs an hour of driving round and round and then getting into a stare-down with other drivers as someone pulls out of a parking place.

The selection at the Disney store was nothing to rave about either.

Definitely the I Drive location. We visited both last week and the Vineland location was pitiful -- it felt somber and pathetic.

We love the Vineland location; it has several stores that are "must dos" for us, but YMMV. I would suggest you check the store directories for both to see which has stores you want to visit.

You can find the directories online at: http://www.premiumoutlets.com/orlando/

Happy shopping!

This parking problem was historic at the Vineland location until they added the free parking garage. I've seen people continue to go up and down and around and around the aisles in the general parking when the parking garage was more than half empty.

With that said, though, I'd guess that yesterday's parking issue was associated with more people being around during the Labor Day weekend and sales.
