I am getting excited finding bits on Ebay for my outfit for the above.

I have just bought a fantastic frilly blouse and have seen a military long jacket in red with gold buttons.

By the way I am going as a pirate:thumbsup2 I also have over the knee boots with gold studs on them - so I am nearly there with the outfit.

DH is going as Jack Sparrow so that will be funny as he will probably much about as if he is drunk around the park:rotfl2:

Sounds fab and I have to say you are extremly organised !!!

sounds all good

can i jump in and ask how and when can you get tickets?
Thanks

You just reminded me I need to get cracking with material for mine! It's all exciting even with 5 months to go!! hehe

Enjoy your search

Sounds like you have it all planned, and I am extremely jealous. We went last year and got all dressed up and had a great time - it certainly adds to the whole experience when you go in a costume as the interaction around the parks is way and above what you would normally expect.
Hope you have fun and we get to see some of the pics :thumbsup2

I remember your pictures last year- you looked ace!! It is ok to dress up as a witch, isn't it? That wouldn't be deemed too scary?!

Just be aware of the heat!

Our daugheter went as lilo in dress I made (and was spotted by someone on here!)

Our son was going to dress up as Mr Incredible but it was so hot a humid he would have roasted!

It is great fun to dress up - but just make sure your outfit is compatible with the hot humid weather!

I thought that through - as I did want to go as a penguin but thought better of it:rotfl2:

It was your pictures that made me decide to dress up this year:thumbsup2

The heat forced us to change our plans a couple of years ago and we found a couple of glowing green skull shirts in the US and had more comments about them than when we had gone to town with dressing up! And it was great in the heat!

Have to decide what to go for this year.... Maleficent, pirate or skull!

We saw plenty of witches when we were there. The tickets you get come with rules on them that basically say that you can't be too gorey, nor wear anything that fully covers your face.

I think DD will go in her Elizabeth Swan Pirate costume, I don't think I am going to dress up however will go for a theme with my outfit, maybe Alice in Wonderland as they have some great stuff out based on the new film.

DD went as a pirate and had her make-up done at the Pirates League. They did a fantastice job and it added a whole new dimension to her costume :thumbsup2

I am booking Pirates League for DD, she will love it. She would never do BBB though even if I paid her, she will much prefer this.
