DBF and I will be in Disney the week before Thanksgiving. Although the weatherman on The Weather Channel is saying Florida is going to have an unusually warm fall and winter, I'm bringing clothes for the cold/rain anyway.

I'm looking for a recommendation on a lightweight jacket to carry around the parks. Should I just get a windbreaker? Or would a lightweight rain jacket be better since it would also protect me from those afternoon showers. Where is a good place to get one from?

Thanks!

I'd suggest a lightweight windbreaker rain jacket. Wear it over a long sleeved shirt.
Just look in your closet. You must have something already that comes close without having to do shopping for your trip. (I say this because I am going to WDW in four months and I am already being tempted into buying new clothes when I have clothes that are just fine already!)

When I went in December, I used a lightweight fleece jacket (that I already had) and a cheap plastic poncho for the rainy day.

I usually wear a long sleeve t-shirt, take a fleece & poncho too (great minds think alike! ;)). My fleece is reversible red/gray... with a reversible I found I got more wear out of it. I usuallt kept it tied around my waist until nightfall. Have fun!!! :cool1:

Yeah, I know that "tied around the waist" look.

I don't like to take "park time" during the day to go back to the resort. So it is tie it around the waist or tote a big bag or wear a back pack. Another idea would be to splurge the money for a locker to store the extra layers for wind or cool of the evening.
