Outer Lodge vs. SugarLoaf

Hi,

I noticed that Allearsnet lists an Outer Lodge Club Level and a SugarLoaf Club Level. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these?

As far as I know, they are one and the same. When you book through the WDW website for GF concierge, you are offered either main building (Royal Palm Club) or outer lodge (Sugar Loaf). Not sure why Allears would list it differently.

Hi! We stayed in an "outer lodge two bedroom suite" in January. The lodge we were in was Sago Key and our suite had a MK view. We were able to use both the RPC and Sugarloaf lounges. I believe that "outer lodge" refers to any of the lodges/buildings that are not the main building or Sugarloaf. We loved our room location and view!

Huh...ok. Weird though is that there is an Outer Lodge 1 BR suite club level and a SugarLoaf 1 BR suite club level...so now that's confusing

Well, the "one bedroom outer lodge suite" would be located in one of the four outer lodges, Sago Cay (where we were), Boca Chica, Big Pine Key, or Conch Key. You are still able to use either the Sugarloaf or RPC lounge areas and these suites are considered club level. The suite you are looking at that is called a "Sugarloaf one bedroom suite" is only located in the Sugarloaf building and you would be able to use the Sugarloaf club services (I don't know about the RPC).
Your travel style would determine your location preference. If you are in one of the outer lodge suites you must leave your building and use your room key to access the club lounges in a different building. This was fine with us as we preferred the awesome MK view from our suite but others prefer the convenience of visiting a club lounge located in their building. It's a personal preference IMO. Hope that clears up some of the confusion. Have a fun trip!
