We're planning a trip to Disneyland for the week of April 19th this year. How is the weather at that time of year? Will we be able to utilize the outdoor pools for swimming (staying at the Disneyland Hotel) or is it too cold then?

My kids have been swimming in Anaheim in Dec., Oct., March and May. I thought they would freeze to death in March, but they loved it. In Dec. the temps were only in the high 60's and they still went in the pool for about 20 or 30 minutes every day. But, they were coming from 25-30 degree temps in Dec. so 60+ seemed really warm to them. :confused3

There were a few days this past April when the temps were up to 100! But it can be in the 60s during the day as well. There is just no telling what the weather is going to do in SoCal - for instance, it's 80 degrees today in San Diego!

I have been 3 times I think In April. Its cool sometimes in mornings and nights, but a lot of times around 100 during day. Cant remember if it was last April or one before that it got up to 106.

My kids were swimming on Thursday night after the parks closed. Personally, I was in the hot tub. We are from Wyoming, so we break out the shorts when it hits 50 degrees. :goodvibes We were staying in the DVC villas at Grand Cal. One pool was definitely warmer than the other one.

I'm pretty sure it was this past April. I know it was definitely 100 this April, because I was pregnant and on bedrest, and wasn't allowed to get up to crank up the A/C!
