Outdoor Movies at Resorts

I have heard that there are Outdoor Movies at some of the resorts. Wondering which ones. I have heard specificcaly that All Star Music has outdoor movies by the pool?? We are staying at All Star Movies - would be able to go watch the movie at All Star Music?
(Would'nt it make more sense to show outdoor movies at All Star Movies???

Please note that I am not inquiring about pool hopping LOL!!!

The only ones I am aware of are All-Star Music(Pool),Yacht and Beach Club(Beach),Saratoga Springs(Pool) and Fort Wilderness(Close To The Bike Barn). You ARE allowed to watch the movies AND use the Pool at All-Star Music.They also have an Activities Program at All-Star Music.As a Guest at All-Star Movies you are allowed to use the Pools,Buses,Food Courts,Arcades,etc. at both All-Star Music and All-Star Sports.That will give you access to SIX Themed Pools,THREE Food Courts,etc.

You can go to Music and watch the movies, and you can pool hop at the All Stars as long as you're staying at one of them.

We're staying at Music this year, but I'm hoping we have time to visit Movies and walk around, we had a great stay there in 2004.

They show the movies every night.
Times very In the summer they start at 9 PM
During the winter at 7 PM

When we were there last Sept. they started at 9 PM.

They show the Pool Movies EVERY night. It is part of a relatively new Activities Program that All-Star Music has had for the last year or so.IIRC,when I was at All-Star Sports last month,the Movies started at 9:00.

The Movies are shown on a large inflatable screen in front of the pool.
You can watch the movie while swimming or you can sit in one of the pool side chairs while enjoying the movies.

Anything can change at anytime at WDW of course ,but,to my knowledge, the Pool Movies have been shown year-round since the Activities Program at All-Star Music was started.

FWIW, when we were at YC over New YEars, they cancelled the movie when the weather was really cool, but they did show Pirates3 on our last night there. People wre on the beach in lounge chairs with room blankets!

It is a relatively new program-I think it has only been around for a year or so.I "stumbled" upon it during one of my stays at All-Star Sports.When they first started it they were calling it a "test" program,but it appears it may have become a permanent(well,as permanent as something can be at WDW)program.

If it rains or is too cold they move movie inside to the food court area.

Yes, The Pilot program was started a year ago..
All Star Music and the YC & BC were the resorts chosen for the piolt program.

We were headed to ASMu last Sept.(2007) so I inqured about the program.

I posted about it on these boards many times.

I need your help !! Pilot program at ASMu and YC&BC

I called All Star Music today. I did call the All Star Music resort # which is 407-939-6000. Of course that # really goes to the switchboard. After explaining I was coming to All Star Music in September and I had read about the pilot program and I wanted more info on the activities and movies she did switch me over to the front desk and the front desk CM switched me over to one of the mangers. Anyway I asked about the pilot program and I was informed it will only last through September but if All Star Music and YC&BC (which also has a similar program ) get enough positive feedback they may expand this program to all of the resorts! Yeah. So anyone is going to All Star Music please fill out the pilot survey which is at the front desk.Please be honest but please fill them out.

The manager I talked to today sent me a list of the activities they have planned for September.

We plan on catching a movie at Music next week on our trip to ASMo. Sounds like a great way to end a Disney day and the kids love swimming at night.
OP-It's easy enough to walk over from Movies, just look for the giant maracas.

Thanks! Can I assume it has now transitioned from a Pilot Program to permanent status?
