Out of the mouths of babes

On Sunday we were coming through Whitehall, NY on the way home from camping in Lake George. I told the kids to keep an eye out for the castle - home to the town's National Guard Armory. We passed the castle, DD3 hollers "Go back, I want to see Cinderella!"

This same child insists we passed the North Pole when we went by an amusement park with a statue of Santa outside and a sleigh pulled by reindeer. She wanted to send a letter there. I asked her what she wanted to say. She said "E M I L Y" (her name). I asked what else. She thought for a moment and said "Y M C A."

Gotta love her.

Too cute! There's a miniature golf place near my parent's house with a mini castle. Everytime we drive by it, dd yells out, "Cinderella's Castle!"

We have a church near my DD's gymnastics that she says looks just like Cinderella's castle, too.

LOL! Kids do say the cutest things, and they can be much funnier than ANY comedian could ever be!

I haven't said too much to ds about going to WDW in October b/c he was only 8 months last time & I didn't think he'd be too excited. Turns out that a child in his daycare class went & brought ds back a picture of Buzz Lightyear (b/c ds is OBSESSED with Buzz).

Now all ds says is let's go to ninney world (aka Disney World)!

It's gonna be a BLAST!

Whitehall, that brings back memories, I was raised in Fair Haven so I know the armory very well. Whenever I get to go home I can't ge through there fast enough cause I know I am just a few minutes away from home!
