No MaxPass, that was retired during COVID. Genie+ will be somewhat similar, no date on its release at DL yet, it has already been released on the other coast.
Thanks for the reply, is there much difference between the two? The whole reason I go to Disneyland is for Max Pass (I'm not interested in booking individual rides 6 months out)

The main differences: are that a few E-tickets will not be included, those are now pay-per-ride (ROTR, Radiator Springs Racers, WebSlingers, not sure if there are others), and also that you can't get more than one per day of each ride with Genie+ (with MaxPass you could frequently get some of the rides multiple times per day if there was availability after you used a MP at a particular attraction). Disappointing to those of us that would like some rides more than once per day. Also it no longer includes Photopass which is a big bummer for my party ... we really felt like the Photopass and ride photos enhanced the value a lot. Corrected by upritbass.

And specific to your dislike- the new system is NOT like FP+ was at WDW with advance booking. Everything is same day now on both coasts (or at least it will be whenever Genie+ goes live at DLR)- so more like MP than FP+ in that regard.
It basically is Maxpass with another name, so don't be too disappointed. It's just worse because a few rides are excluded (though ROTR was not on Maxpass before either and Webslingers didn't exist) and you can only go on each ride once per day. But functionally, it works like Maxpass.
Hijacking this thread a little but just to clarify (I was last there in June this year) … no Fastpass and no Maxpass? And the Genie thing hasn’t started yet?
