Out of date postcards

Okay- I got my first postcard ever, and we're not planning a trip until next summer. What are the chances of being able to use this postcard rate. Mousesavers says sometimes they let you slide, but I didn't know about 10 months. Has anyone ever had one that long?

I tried that last Nov and the CM said no. The code was expired , end of conversation. Mary Waring in Mousesavers had a paragraph in her web site that mentioned a few people had been allowed to use it after expiration. You never know and it doesn't hurt to ask. My last two vacations I got a post card in the mail after I returned!! ARRRRRR!! I don't get it!!

I tried twice when checking into room rates for November. Neither reservationist would allow my old postcards to be used.
