The Dallas Cowboys extra point kicker missed on 4 straight attempts before finally succeeding on his 5th try. Fortunately it didn’t affect the outcome like such misses sometimes do. Unlike the “double doink” of a Chicago Bears player a few years ago.

Tampa Bay had no business being in the playoffs anyway. The didn’t “win” their division, they just sucked the least among the four teams there.

Do the Cowboys have another kicker? Will they be shopping for one?

Maybe if they cut him the Browns could pick him up, after using a 1st round draft pick on a kicker last year! The announcers alluded to another incident when McCarthy was coaching the Packers - Mason Crosby missed several kicks in a game. It happens. Found the reference -

On Oct. 7, 2018, Mason Crosby missed four field goals and an extra point in an infamous loss at Detroit.

Three years and three days later, on Oct. 10, 2021, Crosby missed three field goals and an extra point at Cincinnati. There wouldn’t be a fourth missed field goal, though, nor would there be an infamous loss. York (the Browns kicker) was drafted in the 4th round, not the 1st.

The EPL players have actually though of becoming NFL kickers post soccer careers.

I don't think so. The guy missed three during the entire regular season. He had a bad night. Kudos to the coach for actually keeping him out there (if it was a closer game, maybe he wouldn't have).

Of course you're going to find something related to soccer.

Many HS teams use place kickers that are current or former soccer players.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed complete faith in their kicker and expects he'll be "perfect" in their next game.

He just had a bad night. My 2 least favorite teams and even I felt bad for him. If they end up playing us (Eagles) for the conference win, it’s fine if he can’t kick.
