Hi everyone,

Currently into our second week in Florida and had a fabulous time so far! Only bought disney tickets so have had plenty of time in the disney parks (found MK very busy and crowded in new fantasyland but the others have been fab!) but now we are into our second week we are thinking of a few park free days.

We are going to head over to clearwater tomorrow and thinking maybe st Augustine on the weekend, just wondered if anyone had any recommendation for both these places - things to do / places to eat etc?

We will have our DS (18 mths) with us, thinking we might do little toots tomorrow in clearwater but other than that open to any suggestions!

Thanks v much!!!

We really enjoyed Clearwater Marine Aquarium - you only need a couple of hours there.

No recommendations for somewhere to eat as our plans to park and walk and find something got changed by the weather and we ended up in McDonalds as it had parking right next to it lol

Here is a sort of plan,

You are heading for Clearwater on the Gulf of Mexico.

Then drive North on Hwy 75 to Ocala ( or further up to Gainsville )

Then turn Right to arrive in Palatka

Then on to St Augustine on Atlantic Coast.

.............................................

Return to Orlando area VIA Coast Road Hwy A1A To Titusville

Then Titusville back on Hwy 50 to Hwy I4

....................

A long Drive ........ Much longer than you think.

................. But Enjoy

She's got an 18mth old with her and would guess she would want to minimise travel time and is also doing only doing day trips from Orlando so I guess she wants to maximise time at the destination!
