Just got back this weekend from a wondeful stay at RPR and will never stay anywhere else when we travel to the Orlando area to visit Universal or Disney. We stayed club level and yes it is so worth it. We only spent around an extra $300 on food due to eating breakfast and dinner at club level. They do not have eggs, bacon and such in the morning but we were happy with the oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, toast, english muffins, fresh fruit and donuts and pasteries. Dinner was always great. We had chicken marsala, meatballs with couscous, fish with mango rice and other items. We also had cheese cnaf crackers and a vegatable tray. They also had a salad to go with the entrees for dinner. Ice water and soda was available from 7:30 until 9:30. They put out snacks for lunch time like chips, peanuts and uncrustable for children. Free beer and wine for dinner. I gained 2 pounds.
Loved, loved the heated pool. What can be any better then sitting by a lovely pool with wait staff to bring you food and adult drinks(for a charge of course). I took advantage of this alot so that accounts for the extra money for food.
We had a lovely view of the pool and IOA from our room. I was pleasantly suprised because I assume this is the luck of the draw since you do not get a choose with club level. I made no special requests either.
Hotel was beautiful with the island theme and we used the boat(my daughters favorite) and the walking path to go to the parks and city walk.
Best place I have ever stayed. WE would never be able to afford club level at disney so I think next time we want to see Disney we will stay here and drive over to Disney.
Parks were not to busy until THursday 6/2, our last day and it was very crowded in the morning. We arrived on 5/27 and went over later the evening and walked on the Forbidden Journey. Great ride but I was only able to do it once with out being sick. Loved the frozen butterbeer. Even my husband liked it and he is not a big butterscotch person. WE also had pumpkin juice which tastes just like pumpkin pie, my daughter liked this.
Must go now but we talke more about the other rides we did later....
