Pop Century 8th July - 22nd July 2006
Debbie (me) 42 Planned everything!
Curtis 18 Decided to come with us 4 months before going.
Travis 14 Just tell us the plans when get there.
Tayler 13 Is not as brave as wants to be.
Spencer 21 Not coming as backpacking around Europe for the summer (maybe next time)
Dave 51 other half Looking after the dog and cat and really doesn't mind.
July 7th
After looking into it decided to travel down night before with flight at 9.30am.
Booked a B&B on net staying at Yew Tree Crawley £45 family room.
All the final bits to pack were done last night. Dave dropped us at train station
about 1 for 1.20 train to Luton changing for Gatwick.Had booked a local taxi for 4.10
arrival. All good on train managed to find taxi alright. The driver was really nice told
us where to go to find a wacky warehouse (curt works at one to partime as student)
Not far to Yew tree owner seems a nice bloke. Room is ok bog standard B&B.
Was 4 continental breakfast plated up and plenty of drinks sachets.
Headed straight out found a Iceland picked up drinks and snacks for plane.
Then off to the wacky called The Air Balloon all the meals BOGOF food was nice.
Got back to room in time for Eastenders and Big Brother disappointed Leah was
evicted. All settled down for sleep alarm set for 4.00am taxi at 5.00am
