Pop Century 8th July - 22nd July 2006
Debbie (me) 42 Planned everything!
Curtis 18 Decided to come with us 4 months before going.
Travis 14 Just tell us the plans when get there.
Tayler 13 Is not as brave as wants to be.
Spencer 21 Not coming as backpacking around Europe for the summer (maybe next time)
Dave 51 other half Looking after the dog and cat and really doesn't mind.
Day 5 July 13th 2006
A little harder to get up early today so had lie in until 6.15!! Usual routine but today had a nice peaceful 20min phone call instead of quick call or text to other half am really missing him. Saw the difference in business at food court going over later. Picked up some more milk 4 pinter $3.19 got black top is ok. It is very hot today queuing to get into MGM got to us today. Was busy as well so got FP for TOT Tayler bottled. But did brave Rock and Roller (didnt at DLP) he loved it of course. Had 20min for the FP to be avaliable so had our water in some shade. 2 boys loved TOT this is on list of fav rides got the photo $18.00 and another FP Tayler was going on next time. Also picked up a Goofy in lift uniform $9.59. 15min wait for the Great movie ride enjoyed this liked the Wizard of Oz my Fav film. Went back to TOT but tayler bottled again. Went over to Pizza Planet was closed last year at DLP was not anything special though $33.81. But Buzz, Woody and Toy solider where outside so took lots of photos love toy story. There was a 10min wait for Muppets 3D another enjoyable show. All wanted to go to millionare show so that is our next stop a 11 year old was 1st in the hot seat got to question after the 1000 as did the next lady. Thought the questions where not to hard for US ones. We are all getting a bit crochety with heat and tiredness so as line for backlot tour was 15min did that which was okay and head back to Pop. 2 youngest picked up a pair of goggles each for the pool $13.13. We all go to the pool but started to rain, no good for sunbathing! So off i went to the laundry while boys stayed in the pool. By time washing done rain had stopped so went to Epcot for a while was around 8.00pm. Picked up some McDs chips 9 nuggets and a coke $13.90 and walked right round the 'world' younger boys are quite hyper about going to 'UK' even more so went we spotted galaxy bars 2.25 each and well worth it too.Carried on round and Illuminations started what a fantastic show I loved it everyone was mesmorised. Will def be coming to see it again. Went on the Mexico ride was a nicey ride. Boys where looking forward to Test track was a 50min wait thought it would be less being EMH and oh no boys thought it was rubbish but did enjoy the real cars where you get off. Decided to head back bus Q,s are long but Disney again are great and more buses come. Younger boys go to the pool seems strange telling to be in by midnight. Off on shopping trip tommorow i am lookng forward to that.
