My fiance and I were at WDW from 10/19 - 10/28 and we had a bunch of great and a couple of bad meals. Here is a brief run-down of our experiences:

Brown Derby - Lunch. Every year, it's consistently delicious and we always enjoy it. We both had the pork entree and the pork was absolutely awesome. We're even considering having the same pork at our wedding reception at WDW next fall, that's how yummy it is. I thought the succatash and the tomatoes were yummy too. Score: A.

Tony's - Dinner. Without a doubt, the biggest disappointment of our trip. In the past, we've always enjoyed our meals here, but this year it looked like the menu was totally revamped and we thought the food was just plan nasty. No more of the delicious bread w/ dipping sauce either :( I had the eggplant dish and I thought the serving size was incredible puny for the steep price. It tasted extremely bland and some of the eggplant was actually burnt! Yucko! My boyfriend had a turkey panini that was greasy beyond belief and very bland as well. REALLY disappointing, especially considering how much we usually enjoy Tony's. We will NOT be going back to Tony's in future trips. Score: F.

Liberty Tree - Lunch. It was OK. Pretty bland food, IMO. I had the pilgrim's feast and it was very boring and very bland. Nothing special. My boyfriend had the tavern cheese and the clam chowder and they made him sick afterwards :( Not a really great meal. Score: C-.

Cindy's - Lunch. We both had what used to be called Bruno's Barbecue (I can't remember what they call it now, but it's the same exact thing, barbecue chicken breast w/ slaw and apricot bread). I really love this entree, it's very filling, but not too fatty and greasy. We also had the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer, which I absolutely loved. Score: A.

Plaza Restaurant - Dinner. I had the club sandwich w/ sweet potato chips and I thought it was pretty good. The multi-grain bread was awesome. Service was bleh and we were only about 6 inches from other tables! Score: B-.

Kona Cafe - Lunch and dinner. Kona is one of our very fave WDW restaurants and we eat here as often as possible. We had the teriyaki beef salad for lunch and the teriyaki beef for dinner. Both were awesome. I love this place! Score: A+.

Le Cellier - Lunch. I had some sort of filet which was quite yummy. I also ordered a side of mushrooms, and they were the YUMMIEST mushrooms I've ever tasted. Just awesome. We always eat here and we always love it. Score: A.

Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney - Lunch. We both had the mozzarella/tomato sandwiches and we loved them! Very tasty!! Score: B+.

Pop Century Food Court - Lots of random meals and snacks. We weren't too impressed with this food court, we much prefer the All Stars. Everything at the counters was very greasy and nasty and they didn't even have banana split sundaes, which really made my fiance sad, lol. Very uninspired food court, in our opinions. Score: C-.

Food & Wine Festival - Lots of random meals and snacks. I LOVE THIS THING!! So many yummy little meals. Some of our faves: Maple Fudge from Canada, Watermelon Juice from Mexico, Corned Beef and Cabbage from Ireland, Papas Rellenas from Peru, Apple Strudel from Germany, EVERYTHING from the chocolate booth :hyper:, Honey Lemonade from USA, Ham and Cheese Crepe from France. Some things that we thought were gross: Shrimp on the Barbie from Aus. (teeny tiny shrimp with way too many spices and nasty hard bread), Boma Beef from Africa (the meat was NEON GREEN...need I say more??!??!?!). We thought the crab cake from USA was pretty poor as well....but we live in Maryland and we are crab cake connoisseurs here, so other people might not be so picky about it.

Overall, we had a bunch of good meals (and just a few bad ones) and a great vacation!

Thanks for the reviews. You hit 2 of my favorites with Kona and Le Cellier!! Can't wait to eat our way thru the world in December!!::yes::

Thanks for the reviews! Kona is one of our absolute favorites too.

Sharing your reviews, glad you enjoyed LeCellier which is our favorite at Epcot.Sorry on your experience at Tony's this place used to be great but have seen many bad reviews on it of late.::yes:: :wave2:

Thanks for the reviews. I agree about the POP food court and loved the Maple Walnut Fudge in Canada. Now....when I am there in Dec, I am on a mission!

I love that beef teriyaki salad for lunch at Kona too.

You know we had lunch at CRT and the sandwich that has been called The Coachman for some years has some nondescript name now too. It is still the Coachman to us!

Enjoyed your reviews.

Thank you for your reviews. I'm sorry that you didn't have a good lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. Our pilgrim's feasts were yummy when we went in July. And so were the Sally Lunn rolls we requested.

You're welcome for the mini-reviews! I love eating at WDW, so it's always fun to reminisce :) I just WISH I lived closer to the world so I could eat at places like Kona more often!! Maybe next time my fiance and I will actually wake up early enough to eat breakfast out, lol. This time, we never woke up before 11 or 12 unless we had an appt!! I'm really dying to do our food/cake sample when we go to WDW in May to plan our wedding! Now THAT is going to be one yummy day!!
