Our WDW Anniversary PTR, Postponed- READ WHY! Updated April 8th

Last Friday I finally called and got our Magical Express booked. I was super happy to get something crossed off our "to do" list. I hate seeing the list just sit there...stagnant. I can't exactly start doing laundry or packing yet, so really I can just stare at this list of things to start getting ready in about..2 months- ha!

I have started shopping for the trip, just a little. I bought DH and myself a shirt off of Disney.com. DH LOVES, LOVES Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. So when I found this shirt:

I had to pick it up for him! I also bought myself a shirt, but I'm not quite sure that it'll go on the trip- hopefully it'll be to big :)

Speaking of, I'm down 2.5 pounds of fat, and up 2 pounds of muscle. My Trainer and Doctor say they'll take it, that's normal to be going through a metabolic change... I'm just wishing I was seeing more results quicker- ha! :rotfl2:

Last night DH and I were talking about costs we still have for WDW. Thankfully we really don't have much- just the dining plan and DH's ticket. My ticket was taken care of in October thanks to this little baby:

I know, it's not a super great photo, it was taken via my iPhone right after I purchased it in Disneyland this past October.

For those of you who may not be aware, the "Premiere" Passport, is an annual pass that grants entry to both Disneyland and the Walt Disneyworld Resort. It also gives all discounts/free parking/etc at both theme parks. This baby has gotten her use at Disneyland, now we get to try her out at Walt Disney World!!

Don't mind the photo, I'd gotten up at like 3 am to drive to Disneyland, so this was after an early morning and 5 hours in the car =)

Anyway, in terms of large purchases, here's what we have left on our list:

- DH's ticket (7 Days+Park Hopper+Water Parks and more) We aren't doing 8 days for DH because our first Saturday we'll likely just do DTD and not go into a park.

- Dining Plan (Disney Dining Plan- regular, for 2 adults, off peak season, 7 nights)

- New camera lens (right now I think I want the 1.8/35mm lens. I was going to do the 50mm, but heard it's harder to do up close shots)

- External flash for our camera

- New Camera back pack

Aside from those, it's our normal shopping list... DH needs new shoes, maybe some new clothes, ton's of sunscreen, etc.

The more I think about it, the more excited I get! Hurry up May!:cheer2::cheer2:

I want one of those passes someday :goodvibes

Wow, it is cool to know someone with that special pass :thumbsup2

I <3 my premier pass, I can't wait to use it in Disneyworld!! The only thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't have my photo on it, like previous passes did- but oh well! It still works! :)

You'll get it, I'm just waiting for the "all park pass", though I don't know that I'd ever hit Disneyland, Disneyworld, and like Paris, Tokyo, or Hong Kong in the same year!

Yay loving your ptr. We are going to akl in may too :-)
Awe thanks- we just LOVE AKL! I love our ticker, we're super excited to use their hot tub again too! We love how secluded it is!

I wanted to post this on Monday, when it would have been our official 3 month mark, but I got incredibly busy and couldn't, so without further delay...

In less then 3 months we'll be here:

I never thought I'd be so excited to tell you that we may be canceling our trip!

I'm not ready to share the reason why yet, but I can tell you that it's an absolutely and AMAZING reason.... Eek, hopefully I'll be able to tell you tomorrow!!

On Saturday, April 2nd I called Disney Vacation Club and canceled our reservation for May 7-14. We canceled our reservation because on March 29th, 2011, our lives changed forever!

Introducing....

Baby E joined our family through the precious gift of adoption. We'll likely be postponing our trip until May or October of next year (2012). However, we are taking her to Disneyland this October :)

Congratulations! That is so exciting! I can understand why you had to cancel.
