Our Vero Beach Waitlist...SUCCESS!

In July, we were hoping to stay in a 2 BR at Vero Beach for two nights to unwind after our 7 nights at Bay Lake Tower.

When we called MS, they told us that there were no 2 BR available for both nights, but there was a 2 BR lock-off and 2 BR dedicated available for each night, so basically 1 night we had to stay in the dedicated, and then switch rooms to the lock-off for the second night. We booked that but also put ourselves on a waiting list in case either room became available for BOTH nights. Low behold, we received an email confirmation saying that we will now be in a 2BR lock-off for both nights, HOORAY for not having to switch out rooms!

I'm excited, this is our first DVC trip, plus on Monday, it is time to make ADR's! I love planning Disney trips, and am excited I get to plan them more often now since we purchased DVC!

I am a firm believer in wait listing for rooms. I have had lots of success over the past 6 years.

Yay!!! I am going to call next week to book a 5 night stay at 7 months out. I hope I'm lucky too. I can't wait to call member services...it's killing me.

Well, mine wasn't a waitlist...oops! I just called at 7 months out to get a 2BR at VB for a Sunday-Friday stay. I was worried that it wouldn't be available, but it was. It is nice when you can get the resies you want (we had trouble getting HHI in 2009 and have tried a couple times to get BCV, with no luck and we tried to book a last minute trip one January and nothing was available). I really thought we'd be going on the waitlist for VB or booking something else. So happy we got it!!!
