Our USA Rocky Roadtrip

We've arrived safely in Salt Lake City and the first blog post is up!

OMG!!! Was that only "some" of your shopping?????

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Everything looks great so far. I'm seriously hoping to convince DH to make a trek back to Yosemite and Grand Tetons one of these trips.

I see you made it safe and sound. Thats great about the kids on the flight!
Your room looks fantastic. I bet you guys needed some much needed rest. Can't wait to hear more.

PS I love those water bottles!

Please do organise a trip soon! I am missing reading your TRs. Not of my shopping had arrived. The hotel will kindly store it for us until we return. Luckily it wasn't anything that we needed for our trip!

We were fighting over the who would get which bottles! Not long for you now until Hong Kong.

I noticed the reflection! :thumbsup2

Great update on the GT and Yellowstone. Would you look at that stinkin' gorgeous scenery at the GT????!! Climb or no climb....that ranger walk sounds like it was a must-do.

Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

Amazing photos as usual! The scenery there is beautiful. You're making me want to go. :rolleyes1 The junior ranger thing looked really cool.

Grant Tetons really was spectacular. It was a shame we didn't have more time.

Your blog is great. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Thanks!

Do go! They do make it so easy here for people of all ages to enjoy the National Parks.

Great pics again! You and the family look like you're having a great time. I love Yellowstone....the scenery and the animals are just great. Makes you feel like you can just reach out and touch them.

And trust you to find the Chinese restaurant!!!! :lmao:

Thanks for sharing.

ps. Pea-n-me has posted a mini FALL scavenger hunt. If you have time, check it out. You'll get heaps of items relating to autumn and halloween whilst over there.....:rolleyes1

Just enjoyed catching up with your blog, sounds like you are having a great time!

I would love to see that part of the country (Wyoming/Montana etc.) on our next trip but am concerned November might be the wrong time of year..

Looking forward to the next update!

Actually, my parents found the restaurant. Their homing beacon is much more sophisticated than mine!

Thanks for reading! We are having a great time. The scenery truly is beautiful. November unfortunately will not be optimal for Yellowstone. The majority of the roads (all but one) will be closed because of snow and they don't tend to reopen until April. Even as we're travelling, some places/hotels/shops/restaurants have already closed for the season. The weather at this time of year through is perfect. Highs of mid 20s in the daytime, cool at night. Perhaps if you can squeeze it in in October?
