Just found out this afternoon that we made it through ROFR. It came back fairly quickly; I think it was sent over about 9/20. The folks at Disney are probably still laughing at this one...who's crazy enough to pay $66 a point for VB after 2 hurricanes? They haven't even reopened yet. I'm a little bit scared, but I'm happy. It won't be the first time we did something crazy and it all worked out in the end. I LIKE Vero, and the last time we tried to get ressies there as non-members, we couldn't even get in! Okay, the maintenance fees are higher...but it was the number of points we wanted with the use year we wanted, and I've watched the boards for a long, long time without seeing anything comparable at OKW, which would have been our other choice. Hope we'll find we made the right decision for our family in the long run. Please wish us luck!
