Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

Me+Rebekah and Peyton sat together in the back of the car and Rachel sat between me and a teenage girl who was riding for the first time. She was really nervous and asking a ton of questions about what was going to happen.Rae looked at her and said”don’t worry Sissy said its like riding with my mommy and she only scares daddy”.:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

and Mimi!!!:scared1:

We left Lion King stopped for a potty break and a little shopping. Is my family the only one that has to stop at every little stand that is filled with loot?!:headache: It was a fight I would never win so I just patiently waited..:bored:

and Amy and her crew showed up!:woohoo: Rachel got her special bracelet to tell the CMs that loaded us that she needed the seat with the bar in front of her.

We all got in line together and went through the loong que(is that spelled right?)but had no wait..We love this ride but wish it was longer and Bart and I got soaked the most.Everyone but GM and GP got back in line and went again.:thumbsup2

Nope my crew stops just as much..

ok i am busting your chops on this one...ther eis a FANTASMIC pic of you and GM looking like drowned rats on Kali...and strangely I do not see it posted here...should i do it for you?

i think i've seen matt over on the peeps thread before. didn't he do a gun show for us once? ;)

aw punkin you'll make his day remembering him!

Yes he did!:rotfl2: The other day he was talking about his mama showing friends "out in the world" his guns.:rotfl:

I have got to get Harley on this thread to read. She probably has some things she could share...since she was there.:goodvibes

I am here- and loving every recreated minute...Altho I dont know how you kept your pace and I was ticked that we didnt get to see Nemo or Lion King this yr, between the bathroom breaks and teh eating that my family insisted on...we missed alot...but we still had fun...you need many many days at disney to do it all

oh, poor GM!!!! i feel so bad for her. i'm glad you're there to take care of everyone. what would they do without you??? ;)
I love taking care of them...

OUCH!!!!!

that looks painful. AK does not seem to be going so good. I think you stay and try to make the best of it.
or u go back to hotel.
It was very painful.:sad1: You'll just have to wait and see....:upsidedow

Ohh, you're poor GM! :sad2: That's awful...I really hope she was ok. That ankle looks really painful but it sounds like your GM is a real trooper!

And Rachel....She must have been so upset, and you too, since you had made the autograph books... I hope this day got better for all of you
GM was upset mainly because she was afraid of slowing us down.:sad2: I wasn't worried about it too much.On that day at least.:teeth: I was upset about her autograph book but I was glad that all of them weren't ruined.

She wasn't feeling too bad,she goes nowhere without pain meds.:)

Oh, no. :sad2: Not shaping up to be a dream day in Disney...

I hope GM wasn't too injured.
It was a dream day until she fell. You'll have to wait and see if we can get the magic back....

hoping u feel MUCH better now!

GREAT GREAT report, thanx so much for writing:goodvibes
HI!:welcome: Thank you for reading!:thumbsup2

Ouch, that ankle does not look so good. How unfortunate that the ECV hit her bad ankle.:sad2:
Yeah I was really concerned it had chipped a piece off again.:scared1:

Harleygirl has arrived!!!
:cool1:  :woohoo: :cheer2: :dance3: :yay:

Its about time.....

Nope my crew stops just as much..
I believe you...Bart bought alot!:woohoo:

ok i am busting your chops on this one...ther eis a FANTASMIC pic of you and GM looking like drowned rats on Kali...and strangely I do not see it posted here...should i do it for you?
I had actually forgotten it...its not in photobucket with the others from this day.

you would think they could go one trip without eating or using the bathroom. :rotfl2:

Thanks...not real flattering is it.:scared1:

Yes I agree- come on people we are at the WORLD- we've got no time for frivolities like eating and peeing...lets move lets move lets move

that picture is the best esp with the "before" shot right above it...:rotfl:

Okay I am adding to your trippie at this point...my favorite part about this particular day was noting how many people just go completely nuts when they are in the world. We chose to do RAfiki's Planet, and we enjoyed it, was laid back just kind astrolling around...and as we are leaving I hear the woman behind me say "You are such a little brat" and I thought hmmm someones not feeling the magic...then about 5 minutes laterI hear this mom and older daughter (teenage maybe) just jawing and they are power walking by me and mom is letting her have an earfull (and everyone else I might add) and says "Well. You're the one who wanted to go on that STUPID train ride" Some one else not feeling hte magic here either

Whilst (Hi JO!!!) you were in Nemo getting rained on we were at the BBQ Tree place huddling under a cover while the bottom dropped out and lightening popped and it was heaven being huddled with smelly wet other people that I didnt know ;)

Then we met up with you and saw GM and we were all very sad, and worried about GM:guilty: But that woman is so stubborn- like someone else I know;)

Now back to your trippie...:yay: cnat wait for more

Man- how awful, DD autograph book got ruined:sad2: Im so sorry- I hop ethe day (or week ) gets better!:goodvibes

My own GM had a favorite saying: "Into every life, a little rain must fall."

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that GM's ankle would be okay.... pixiedust:

Oh, BTW, I hear you about family getting a bit annoyed with the Peyton-shirt thing. Its hard for them to understand that his irritation with the sleeves is a tactile/sensory issue and not just wanting to "do his own thing" fashion-wise! The sensation would just drive him crazy all day, and who needs that?? I agree, you just have to pick your battles.

(I'm so glad that many shirts are being made "tagless" now... my Billy absolutely cannot tolerate the feeling of a tag on his neck!)

Bye for now...

Alex can't stand short sleeves... I can't stand tags... wonder where he got it from?

Definitely choose your battles - I gave up on short sleeves long ago!

So sorry about GM's ankle and the soaked autograph book. Plus your missing Nemo. I guess bad things happen in 3's...or more? :confused3 I am totally hoping that things got much much better for you all!

The older kids say this ride is the “Nemo It’s a Small World”. Its pretty and I am glad we did it but once was enough.Or was it?:rolleyes1

Agreed....it was cute, but I wouldn't do it multiple times.

Rachel almost imediately started freaking out.She was screaming “get me out of here” at the top of her lungs. She was kicking and trying to hit me and bite me.

 So sorry you had to handle a "super meltdown" -- I guess we just have to roll with it sometimes, right? It's a mom thing.

Just long enough for us to discuss wether we were going to do the Safari or not because the whole day's itinerary hinges on that.Yep its a sickness.:teeth:

Let's move it, people!

The jury is still out on whether I can write one of these.....:surfweb:

No, it's not. You're wonderful! :cutie:

We got to Nemo and the line stretched almost all the way to Dinoland. This was 30 min prior to the start of the show.We only had a few minutes wait and we were let into the theater. We had good seats in the first row of the second level and people were let in until right before the show began..

We had the same thing at Nemo -- long line 30 minutes before the show. And the theater was almost full by 20 minutes before the show. Everybody we chatted with in lines for the rest of the day, I told them to get to Nemo EARLY. ;)

Ten minutes into the show Rebekah started saying she needed to use the restroom.Like a good mama I told her to hold it.

Life interrupting your vacation yet again. :rotfl:

Yes I agree- come on people we are at the WORLD- we've got no time for frivolities like eating and peeing...lets move lets move lets move

Exactly!! We are lean mean vacationing machines........:hippie:

It hit her and she fell hard to the ground.:sad1:
owwww that sounds really painful!

Did you get priority seating as you had an ECV?

Rachel’s must have not been sealed completely because it was soaked.:sad1: I had made these books and it had all of her autographs from the day before in it.
Oh no poor Rachel, was it completely ruined?

Will GM go to the hospital to see what damage has been done??
Hope not!!!!!

OMG that's hilarious thanks for posting now Amy why didn't you post that in the first place? :rotfl2:

Whilst (Hi JO!!!)
Hi Harleygirl :wave2: So you still remember my whilst's from the peep thread then :rotfl:

I second that! :rotfl2: :rotfl: : :rotfl: :lmao:
Okay are you laughing at me?;)

Peyton can have major clothing issues.Mostly his clothes have to fitand not be too big.I ordered the shirt in a size 7 but it was still big.:confused3
Alex can't stand short sleeves... I can't stand tags... wonder where he got it from?

Definitely choose your battles - I gave up on short sleeves long ago!
Choosing my battles is something I do every day.We all want to be comfortable we just have different opinions on what is comfie.

So sorry about GM's ankle and the soaked autograph book. Plus your missing Nemo. I guess bad things happen in 3's...or more? :confused3 I am totally hoping that things got much much better for you all!
Everything was going great until the fall and then it was almost like a domino effect.:scared1:

Agreed....it was cute, but I wouldn't do it multiple times.

HI! LOVE the detailed response.:woohoo: Lean mean vacationing machines...that would be a great tag.:thumbsup2 I hope to see the full Nemo next time and give it another shot.

owwww that sounds really painful!

Hi Harleygirl :wave2: So you still remember my whilst's from the peep thread then :rotfl:

No priority seating with the ECV.The wheelchair/ECV seating was full so GP sat in a regular seat.:goodvibes The book was pitiful but we let it dry and you could see most of the autographs and she wouldn't let me buy her a new one.
I missed that pic on mistake!:rolleyes1 Thats my story and I am sticking to it...

ouch that looked painful!! I fell on a hill in wet grass back in march and my ankle looked very similar to that. One little fall turned into 3 months of PT and wearing one of those "darth vador" walking boots. Needless to say when we went to WDW in May I was still not 100% and my brother decided it would be fun to run me back and forth across all the parks (and i wanted to hurt him lol)
