Hi Amy,

Love all the pics so far! The one of Rae seeing the castle is soo adorable! I think that might be my expression too when I see the castle for the first time

And the family pic in front of the castle with the matching T-shirts is great! Ohh...I can't wait to get there!

I'm looking forward to hearing about LOEMH...it sounds like so much fun for the kids and I'm hoping you say it wasn't too crowded

We entered Fantasyland and there seemed to be a lot of people but there was barely a line for Dumbo!

We waited through one cycle(I think that is the way to describe that)and then it was our turn. The girls wanted to ride together and Peyton wanted to ride with my mom.

Where did that leave me?Climbing into an elephant by myself. I did get a call from Bart who said they were on their way to POP and would be coming to MK after checking in.We got off of Dumbo and Peter Pan was next and the wait was only 10 min!

It actually turned out to be a walk on.Rachel rode with GM and got a little nervous in the dark but ended up loving it.Peyton and Rebekah griped a little about riding the “kiddie” rides but I noticed them both smiling and pointing at things during the ride.

After Peter Pan Rae wanted to ride It’s a Small World but after explaining about popular rides and wait times she came over to my way of thinking. We did stop and ride the Carrousel because we were able to get right on.

Next up Winnie the Pooh with a standby time listed as 10 min but again we had no wait.We all love this ride especially the bouncing with Tigger part.

We walked into Toontown at 10:00am

and went straight to Goofy’s Barnstormer. This ride is a blast but waay to short.We screamed and laughed our way through and then got right back in line to go again.

After the second time I asked the kids if they wanted to play in the water at Donald’s Boat but they said “NO!”,they were ready for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.GM and the kids took the train to Frontierland while GP and I walked/scootered to meet them at the ride.We stopped and watched a few minutes of the Woody parade on our way.

We arrived before them so I got FP for Splash Mountain while we waited.

They walked up and it was time for us to find out if Rae would be tall enough to ride.I had actually brought her stilleto flip flops if she didn’t measure up but she did!

You would think my family had won something the way the kids were jumping up and down celebrating. We walked around to the wheelchair entrance and waited our turn to ride.Five family members can go through this line to ride with the person on the ECV/wheelchair.You actually have to ride both tracks to get back to the ECV so my kids love when GP agrees to ride.We waited about five minutes and it was our turn.This is Rebekah and Peyton’s favorite ride at Magic Kingdom and ended up being one of Rae’s favorites too.I couldn’t believe how brave Rachel ended up being.She never even hesitated and laughed through the whole ride!

As we were getting off of the ride Amy called to say they were walking toward BTMR.They met up with us and there were hugs all around and we took a picture.

All the kids wanted to ride together and there was almost no line so went through the standby entrance to ride with them.I will let the pictures do the talking here.Bart took some of them and I took the rest.

We actually didn't get to do LOEMH. But the crowds weren't bad when we got there a little after 9:00am so I would think it was good for LOEMH.

okay....i'll explain. zoolander is a movie starring ben stiller and owen wilson as really ditzy male models. it's hilarious. if you haven't seen it, go rent it soon. but without the kids. anyway, there's a seen where this female reporter is sharing the story with zoolander (ben stiller) about how she used to have an eating disorder. she says, "i'm bulimic." and ben stiller looks at her with this look of amazement and says, "you can read minds???" anyway, it's soooooooo funny and we like to say that to each other when one calls the other and we were thinking/talking about them. i guess you had to be there.

I stayed there this past January with some girlfriends and we felt fortunate to get our first floor connecting rooms. Being able to have our rooms joined was a blast!!! I think I had better double check whether they have my requests

Hi Cheryl!We really like POP but definitely call about your requests.I have never had trouble but this time even though I called several times before our arrival they were never noted.Connecting rooms are a must because the kids constantly go back and forth.Our room troubles are not over yet. My next installment will have more room drama.

After getting off of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad the two families split up.We went to find some lunch and decided on Columbia Harbor House.Peyton wanted chicken strips and Rebekah wanted the fish but we were faced with another wonderful kids menu.Their two choices here were salad with grilled chicken strips or macaroni and cheese.I got the salad for Bekah and the mac n cheese for Peyton and got myself the fish and chicken basket.I gave Peyton and Rachel a piece of chicken each and Rebekah a piece of fish.There was plenty of food for us to get full.While the rest of the family lingered over lunch in the cool restaraunt, Peyton and I speed walked over to Space Mountain for Fast Passes.By the time we got back they were done eating and had used the restrooms and were ready to go.I stopped at a snack cart after leaving the restaraunt and got some ice for the cooler.

Rebekah and Rachel wanted to ride Splash Mountain but Peyton didn’t want to ride.I called Amy and we met them at the Shooting gallery so that Peyton could stay with them while we rode it.I think they did the Swiss Family Treehouse and Jungle Cruise.GP found a smoking section and smoked his cigar while we rode Splash Mountain.Splash mountain stopped while we were on it for about ten minutes.The girls both love the ride and wanted to do it a second time but we needed to meet up with the others .

We met them in front of Pirates of the Caribean.Everyone but GP rode this together.My kids and I are not fans of the movie,in fact I haven’t seen any of them and the kids have only seen the first one.We all enjoyed the ride though except for Rachel.She said it was too dark,too loud,and the pirates were ugly.We came off of the ride and into the shop and I had some fun trying to keep up with three kids who wanted to look in three different directions.All those Disney dollars were burning a whole in their pocket and it was time to start spending! Rebekah got a cute pair of Tink sunglasses and Peyton bought a toy gun.

Amy and her family went in search of food and we got in line for Captain Hook and Mr.Smee.We didn't mind that there was a bit of a wait because it was so much fun watching their antics.They were teasing each other and the people getting autographs. We were next in line when they took a break but they were gone only about five minutes before they returned and it was our turn to meet them.Rachel was scared of Captain Hook but he was great and let her feel his hook. They kept pointing to mine and Rebekah's shirts because of Tink being on them.We took a few pictures and they signed the autograph books .

Next we stopped for icecream and it started sprinkling while we were eating them.We walked toward Tomorrowland and the rain steadily got heavier and heavier.We stopped long enough to put on ponchos and admire some ducks and continued on our way.

By the time we got to Space Mountain it was storming.They closed the ride so we used the restroom and then just waited under an awning.The ride reopened after a few minutes and GM,Rebekah,Peyton and I used fast passes to ride.Rachel was totally insulted that she wasn’t able to ride.We should have saved the fast passes though because there was no line.We only waited maybe five minutes before it was our turn and rode.We rode on the right side which my kids say is better.I love listening to Rebekah on this ride,I don’t think she stops screaming the entire time.

We got off and found Rachel sound asleep laying on GP’s shoulder.I settle her into her stroller and Rebekah,Peyton and I ride again using the baby swap pass.

After Space Mountain we rode Buzz Lightyear.This is not one of our favorites but we ride it at least once every trip,though I am not sure why. It broke down for a few minutes right at the start and I used this time to write a few report notes which mortified Rebekah for some reason. .Peyton got 112,00 points and I got 1900 and I think Rebekah got even less than me.We took a few pictures and found GP and Rachel who was still sleeping.

Rebekah and Peyton made their first pin trade just outside the TTA.I really wish I had bought them pins from ebay before going so that they could have done more trading

By now it was 3:30pm so I talked everyone into leaving and going back to the resort so that we could find our new rooms and get our stuff unloaded from the car.It would be nice to have a shower before our dinner at Chef Mickeys,we had all gotten wet several times and were feeling pretty gross at this point.I called the number that I had been given to get our room assignment as we walked out toward the busses.I got the room number and asked if the rooms were connecting and on the first floor.She assured me they were and told me which building to find them in.

We arrived at the busstop,unloaded the stroller and discovered Peyton’s bag is missing. This bag contains his money,autograph book,sunglasses and Tyler’s Nintendo DS. He immediately starts crying and begging for us to go back.He remembers setting it down on the bench in Tommorrowland while he made his pin trade.GM and GP take the girls,Rachel has just woken up, back to POP while Peyton and I run back in.We get to the bench and it is not there. Peyton went over to the CM he had pintraded with to see if he had seen it and he had it! We thanked him several times and took a picture with him.We were soo lucky to have found it so easily.

We were walking toward the busses when GP called.They had found the rooms and they were connecting but on the fourth floor. He was going to go up to the front desk and see if there was anything they could do.We rode back on an almost empty bus and GP was still at the front desk.They said there was nothing they could do and didn’t know why someone had said that we would have first floor rooms.Oh well the rooms were connecting and that was the most important thing.By this time it is almost 5:00 pm and we have to unload the car and leave for Chef Mickey in 45 minutes.I guess there would be no showers before eating.I moved the car closer to our room which was in the building behind the big wheel which is the 90's section I believe.We were on the fourth floor in rooms 444 and 445.We weren’t far from the main building and busstops.Peyton,Rebekah and I unloaded the car and we all washed up a bit and changed clothes.We were out the door right at 5:45 for our 6:10 ressie.

Next up Chef Mickey...

Would we return after dinner or would the kids talk me into more adventure???

Great pictures, I am so glad you found his bag. My DS learned the heard way a couple of years ago, lossing two game systems and all of his games.

Loving your report so far! I'm going to go on ebay today to get some pins for the kids. They each have only one pin right now. Our neighbors bought them lanyards and one pin when they went in April. We'll have to stock up before we leave so they can trade. Can't wait to read more!
