I can understand a mother being concern (like the one you encountered), maybe even understand her asking if you've been on it. But to make a snide comment while turning around. Well, that is plain rude. It's not for others to judge on those things.

GM and I took Rae to the Little Mermaid show.We all love this one but I think this is when Rachel's obsession with Ariel started.Sge sang the songs,squealed when the bubbles came down,and laughed at the rain.

We regrouped to find that Rebekah had hurt her ankle.Somehow she had hit it so hard on one of the art tables that it was bleeding rather badly.I took her into the bathroom to wash it and a nice CM gave us some bandaids and neosporin.With much drama she was fixed up but preceded to limp for the next several hours.

Ooo, next time I'm taking my girls to the animation place. That looks really great & I don't think we've ever done that.

My kids love the animation place and there will be pics of their drawings in another installment.Last year on our ten day trip they did that class 8 times.
Definitely take your girls...

I think that you did a wonderful job taking Rae on the ToT. I think you handled it wonderfully. So kudos to you. Even if it would have had a terrible outcome, you still handled it great. Thanks..I actually have more of him sleeping.He can sleep anywhere and does. He has slept through parades,etc.He says it comes from having to live with my kids two years ago when he was sick and having to sleep through their noise.

Oh NO!!! I showed my DD (8 yo) the picture of Rae with her loot and read her the grand total of $59.48 out of $60, and SHE said "That means she has enough for a smashed penny if one of them are shiny."
I am in SOOO much trouble when we go!!!

PS I don't mean to be a lurker, I have extra-slow and exasperating dial-up internet, so I'd rather read your experiences and see your pix than bore you with what I have to say. Which is *Awww! What a great family!*

It was a few minutes before 11:00am as we walked toward Sci Fi.I was hoping that the early time would help us get a seat in the restaraunt.We passed the Monsters Inc. characters and I wanted the kids to get their picture with them but they weren't interested.

We arrived at the entrance to Sci Fi and everyone waited outside while I asked about availability.The CM looked and said "Yes....but not in a car but at a regular table." I told him I would ask the rest of my party.After I explained what was available Peyton said he didn't want to eat there and the rest didn't care so I told the CM we wouldn't be taking the table.I promised Peyton that we would have an ADR there on our next trip.

We decided on Backlot Express for our lunch but when we got there it wasn't open. It was now 11:15am and it didn't open until 11:30am.No problem,Star Tours was right next door with a 10 minute wait. GP was happy waiting for us while pondering his map.I don't think I have mentioned this but GP seemed to be obsessed with those maps. Every time I turned to him he was studying one.

The rest of us walked through the long but empty line.I took several pictures but most of them were awful.

I was worried that Rachel would be scared after TOT but she didn't hesitate to ride a new ride.She laughed and screamed through the entire journey.

Backlot Express was open when we came out.We got in line and Rebekah wanted chicken tenders and Peyton wanted a hamburger.Are these items on the kids menu? Nope. Well I decided that they could get what they wanted and I would pay out of pocket.I had already forced them several times to choose from the children's menu when they didn't want to.They each got a combo meal and a drink and the total was $19.58.Oh well we were on vacation. I got the double cheeseburger combo and payed out of pocket for a bun and Rachel and I each had a burger.The food here was pretty good-standard counter service.

While we were eating we discussed what to do next.We had to split up if everyone was going to see their "must dos".It was decided that GP and Peyton would go to Indiana Jones while the girls,GM and I went to the High School Musical Pep Rally and Beauty and the Beast.

Everything was settled and we were headed out the door when I noticed Rebekah had her "drama queen sour face" on.

"What's wrong ,Bekah?"
"I want to see Indiana Jones."
"You know we don't have time to see everything."
"I rather see Indiana Jones than the Pep Rally."
WHAT??!! She had talked for weeks about the pep rally.I knew if she didn't see it she would regret it.I also knew there would be other opportunities for her to see Indiana Jones.

Would I be able to talk some sense into her???Would we see the Pep Rally??
