well here goes, I have read everyone elses trip report so now I a going to post mine:

Well it all started rather stormy, I went to David Bridals the day after getting to Florida, one week before the wedding. ( Let me just say That Davids was holding my wedding dress for a year so that I didn't have to bring back the dress to the Uk to then have to take it back) anyway on getting there I was told that "we don't have your dress." Well let me tell you I was not impressed I started crying and saying please don't do this to me, please don't do this to me, there were so many people in the shop that the staff members told me to calm down (calm down my wedding dress wasn't there) and take a seat. Eventually after about 20 minutes they came out and told me they had it, their excuse was that the person who originally served me could not speak English. Well that was enough, so I thought until (last year on purchasing the dress they told me that alterations could be done within a few days as I am from overseas) well.....on trying the dress on and yes it needed altering only because Davids told me last year to buy the size up that was too big last year!!! When they told me that the dress would be ready on the 19 November I said but you knew when the wedding was and you promised that the dress would be done on time, (again she couldn't speak English) theire excuse again.:confused3 Fortunately after everything they assured me that the dress would be ready and yes it was within a couple of days:banana:. The dress fitted perfectly only cost $95 that was for a rush job to get it altered (which it would not have needed if I would have got the size that fitted me perfectly last year) and also the alterations.

We then managed to have a chill day and the following day went to the Court House to get our marriage licence, that was so easy, anybody who thinks it will be difficult trust me it is easy, we arrived at 7:45am at Osceola Court House and got our marriage certificate by 8:20am, and considering they aren't supposed to open until 8:30am I think we done well.

Anyway we chilled again until all our family started to arrive. My then fiance (now husband.......sounds strange at the moment but nice) tried to meet his parents at the airport but we had already missed them as they had arrived early at the airport. I must say that we don't drive when we go to Florida we rely on cabs and buses, so when it took an hour and a half to get there only to find out that we had missed them............we were not impressed, but the thought was there. We all went me my fiance and my parents to say Hi.

We took a trip to celebration the following day with my aunt and uncle cousins etc and found the most perfect Thank you Cards which we could not find anywhere, they weren't from impressions they were just from a tiny shop that sold the most amazing cards. You must check it out.

The day before our big day the whole family went to Disney Animal Kingdom and MGM studios, I think this was a good idea it gave everyone a chance to get to know eachother and also a chance to not think about the wedding and relax. In the evening we went to The Boardwalk to ESPN for dinner and some drinks, the boys then went off partying a little more to Pleasure Island. I wanted to get back and unpack etc as we had changed hotels for the time of the wedding. I am glad that we did as we didn't get to sleep until 3am in the morning. I did sleep though which I was quite surprised with as I didnt think that I would. I even managed to have something to eat in the morning for breakfast!!!

The day of the wedding. My mum and dad were with me and my fiance was with his parents so we didn't see eachother. (The wedding wasn't until 2:30pm) I thought that it would drag, but by the time I got up had something to eat and Ana from Beaute Speciale arrived (she is great) at 10:30am and she did my make up and hair and my mums make up and hair, she didn't go until 1:45pm. Randy arrived the photographer (he is superb, his work is outstanding, I will post some pics soon) it was time to be picked up by Cinderellas Coach. It was always my dream to get picked up in Cinderella's coach and you do feel like a princess in it. They stop the traffic to let you through, everyone waves and stops, takes photos, you feel really special.

Well that is it so far..........to be continued. I am having trouble posting pictures will keep trying. I will ask my DH to do this when he gets a moment.

cant wait to read more, sorry to hear about the dress but glad it got sorted

what a nightmare regarding the dress, glad you sorted it out in time!
cant wait to see you photos and read the rest of your reportl

My dad travelled with me in the coach whilst my mum was picked up by the limo.

When we arrived at the Wedding Pavillion, I was very calm I didn't think I would be, I was really relaxed I couldn't wait. Amy our co-ordinator met us (have I said how great she is) she held the back of my dress so that it didn't trail on the floor and took me and my dad to the brides vestibule. I remember seeing my mum, future mother in law, future sister in law and my future husbands cousin waiting for me to walk up the pathway. Reverend Kevin Knox met me in the brides vestibule and talked me through what I had to say and how we would say our vows etc. We had written our own vows so had them all typed up on a card. Pictures to follow, still having trouble downloading. My bouquet was waiting for me it was beautiful it was called a tussy mussy it was basically a ball of orange and champagne roses, I could not believe how heavy they were. My dad was really tearful and I was still surprised how relaxed I was.

Amy then came into us and said are you ready, I was sooooooooo ready I couldn't wait to marry my prince. I felt shivery and excited at the same time. We walked up towards the doors before Amy and her assistant opened them. She explained to us how I should be standing on the left of my dad and and that I should link my arm through his. She told my dad what he should do when we walked in. This was quite funny actually as he was supposed to say I do meaning he is the person giving me away, but when Reverend Knox asked my dad he said "its me." he then realised what he said but we just ignored and began the ceremony.
