Updated a few details...
Sorry for the delay in posting, but I hope you enjoy my report. This trip involved myself and my girlfriend and was our 4th trip each(1st time going together). We are both in our late 20s and had not been in about 5 years. We stayed off property for the trip and flew in and out from Detroit (although we live in Canada). I'll do my best to remember all the details. If you have any questions...just ask!
July 2nd
By the time we landed, picked up the rental and arrived at AK it was 11:30. We had planned to only stay for a few hours as we had been up since 4am and still needed to check in. By the time we left around 6pm we had done Kali, Dinosaur, Bugs Life, Safari, Pangani Exploration Trail, Nemo Musical, Lion King Musical and watched the parade. We had a FP for Kali, waited 20 minutes for Dinosaur and walked on everything else.
July 3rd
Arrived at rope drop for Epcot. Went straight on Soarin. Then walked on Nemo and into Turtle Talk with Crush and watched the 10am aquarium feeding. Then walked onto Figment and into Honey I shrunk the audience. Went and grabed a FP for Test Track then waited 10 minutes for SpaceShip Earth. Ate at the Electric Umbrella, used our FP for Test Track and waited 20minutes for Mission Space. We headed into the World Showcase by 2pm. Slowly explored all of the countries and walked onto both rides in Norway and Mexico. Watched the shows in France, Canada and Britian. It was REALLY hot so we went and rode Ellens Energy then Living with the Land and at their too. Went and watched the shows again in Britain and Canada (also watched the movie here too). Then we went and got a spot for the fireworks at 8:15. Hit the hot-tub when we got home then off to bed.
July 4th
Spent some early morning time at the pool then went for lunch at Chillis. Headed to the Prime Outlets were it was super busy, but where they had some amazing 4th of July Specials! Dropped all of our stuff off at the room and went to Ponderosa for dinner that night. After dinner played some mini-golf and were back to the room by 9:30pm.
July 5th
Woke up ealry and started driving to Miami to watch the Pirates @ Marlins 1pm game. It was hot, hot, hot!!!!!!!! Did I mention it was hot? After the game we made our way back to Orlando. Ate at Ponderosa again for dinner, hit the hot-tub, then hit the bed.
July 6th
Arrived at MK for rope drop and watched the pre-opening show. Went straight to Frontier Land, but both rides were down so we grabed a FP for Big Thunder and moved on. Walked onto HM, Peter Pan, Small World, Pooh and Snow White. Went back to use our Big Thunder FP and grabed a FP for Splash. Walked onto Jungle Cruise, Pirates and Tiki Room. Walked right into Country Bear, ate at Peco Bills then watched Move It, Shake It. Went and used our Splash FP and got another and rode the train to Toontown to just walk through. Went to get a spot for the afternoon Parade at 2pm and watched Dream Along With Mickey and ate ice cream while we waited. Watched Mickeys Philharmagic then headed to TomorowLand. Got A FP for Buzz and got in the 20 minute line. Watched Monsters Inc, used our Buzz FP and grabed another FP for it. Rode Carousel of Progress and used our Buzz FP again. Caseys for dinner with a cinnamon bun for dessert, then we did Swiss Robinson, Hall of Presidents and used our Splash FP from the beginning of the day. At 8pm we went and got a spot for Spectro. It is absolutely hilarious watching people try to steal/squeeze/push their way into spots that people have been sitting and holding. Watched Spectro from a spot near the castle then watched the fireworks. Took the ferry back to the car (monorail had opened again by this point) and went to bed when we got back.
