I can't even call it a trip report! We just didn't take enough pics this time. But I have a few to share.
We arrived at the Fort late Saturday evening, July 24th. My Mom flew in separately and had already checked into our cabin, which was in a nice location at the back of the 2100 loop.
For my first pics, I would like to take time to answer a question that came up a few weeks ago on this board. How thick are the curtains in the cabins? The answer - thick.
Thick and hungry enough to devour small children. Leaving behind only their toes.
Another question I've seen asked - is there a Pack N Play in the cabin? Yes, and it's the safest place to store your children.
When they smile sweetly, you can let them out.
My kids love the cabins. I think the bunk beds are the biggest hit. This was the first time they fought over who got the top bunk. They had to take turns.
I love the little nightlights they have over the bunkbeds. "Wilderness theming," Disney style.
Another favorite at the cabin is the kid sized table.
The couch is small, but nothing stops my husband from napping. Nothing.
We got a late start our first morning. Our kids usually get up early enough for rope drop. But I was happy they slept in a little bit. We went to the MK our first day, Sunday the 25th. Here I am with my Mom and two of the kids on the Magic Carpets. One of our favorite rides.
It was crowded and very very hot, but we had a great time. We did several rides and saw a few favorite characters, and had lunch at the Harbor House. Then we came back to the cabin for a swim, a rest, and a Giddy Up and Go dinner, before going back to see the Electrical Parade. My husband took some great pics of the parade, so I'll post a few of those next.

). Those are the first pics of the "honoring America" float I have seen..very touching!
There is a box where the picture would be saying that the image has been moved or deleted. Can everyone else still see them? I feel so left out!
