Actually, they are quite excited about going. But this will be their 4th trip and they know all too well the feeling when it's time to leave Disney. So as odd as it sounds, they are "dreading" the start of our trip, because they know that it means it will soon be over.

Kind of weird, huh?

I know what you mean kinda. My Dbf always complains that I am making a reservation for too many nights ( i guess because of money) and then when it is time to go he whines and never wants to go. From the first night we get there he starts with the its gonna be over too soon. He's such a pain. Try doing something very memorable your last night or start a new tradition. I am planning a nother trip and we haven't even gone on this one. At least here on the dis I know that people are sharing my"problem" instead of looking at me funny.Have a great trip!!!!!!:wave2:

When I read your subject line my first reaction was    :scratchin :sad2: :confused3 :sad1: :faint:

Then I read your post!:p Not weird, I know that the trip is never going to be long enough - dh teases that I am going to have to get a job at the World when the kids are out on their own, so I can go there as much as I want!

Our trip is only 16 days and some hours......I'll go with you...I usually don't dread the return...Although I love being there by the time it's time to come home I'm ready for normalcy. And then we have Christmas to look forward to.

i believe i read somewhere on these boards about coming home when it's over..... one lady bought and mailed a postcard from WDW..from mickey to her daughter. she signed it from mickey and she said when her daughter got it in the mail when she got home, her spirts lifted and she was happy. i plan to use this myself....having mickey write my son a postcard note about how happy he was to meet him (my son) and he can't wait to see him again. i've also heard of people giving gifts when they get home, or "mickey" sending them a "thanks for coming" gift in the mail. and, there's always the pictures you take while you're there...that's what actually gets ME thru the post-trip blues!!
