Your spread sheet was really nice and detailed.

I think I will do that this time. I always write down what I spend and save my receipts, but rarely to a combine it into one spreadsheet.

I have one question, when budget downsized you, did you get a reduced rate?

Thanks for sharing. :flower:

Just for the record it was Avis. The price was reduced $50, since it was a lower class of car. They didn't give me any extra discount for my inconvenience. If I complained and was ubnoxious I probably could of did better, but I just wanted to start my vacation. They sent me an online survey and I gave my 2 cents. I'll take by business elsewhere next time.

Sorry, I don't know why I thought Budget. I agree, sometimes it is not worth the hassle. Glad everything worked out ok.

I agree that it often isn't worth it to get upset at the time. We had a problem with American Airlines on our April trip to WDW. We didn't hassle the gate employees because we to were anxious to start our vacation and wanted them to help us as much as possible. When we returned home I contacted AA customer service and received a $100 per ticket ($300 total) travel voucher for the inconvienence. Maybe Avis will do something now in order to retain your business. Thanks for sharing your budget.
