Our Trick AND Treat- DD's Surprise Bday Trip! 11/4 Get Movin'

I got a 100 day present!!!

I was reading WillowBelle TRs (head over there if you want to see some amazing pics) http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2223966 and she mentioned that she RENTS her lenses. I didn't even know that you could do that.

This is the site http://www.borrowlenses.com/

I have been dying to try at fish eye at Disney and this sealed the deal. I'm going to rent one!!! The lens costs about $1000 but you can rent it with insurance for $100 for 2 weeks. Wonder what else I could rent??? (where is the chin scratching smilie???)

How cool!!!!! I'm too close to my trip to think about that now but I can't wait to hear how this works for you. Be sure to let me know if you ever hear of anything locally too.

I'm half way done! Yea, I like to read the chit chat. Your daughter is 100% adorable! And I bow down:worship: to all of you creative sewy people. You've made some beautiful things. I can make a valance and sew on patches and nothing else. Apparently you need some sort of spatial relational intelligence that I'm lacking.:sad2:

How fun that you're surprising your daughter! Good luck with the reveal.:) AND for MNSSHP! The pictures look amazing. SO fun!

Finally, your mini NY TR was super fun. My oldest DD wants to see some Broadway shows, but her taste runs to Wicked and Les Miserables instead of Disney. I want to see the Disney shows!:yay:

Back to catching up.:goodvibes

Thank you!!!!

Well my PTR is kinda chatty so you have a lot to catch up on!!! It's still so strange to me that I now know so of my Dis friends in real life :)

You should go to NYC. It really is so much fun. I wish we could afford to go more often but the stupid hotel costs kill ya! Wicked is a fantastic show...might even be the best show I've ever seen. My DD loved it. We dressed her up like Elphaba so she got a lot of attention and ate it up!

I have to second that Wicked was amazing.

I read that they are shuttering The Little Mermaid on Broadway this fall and gearing up for a National Tour. *Fingers Crossed* that it comes to Boston! :worship:

Don't know if my fellow Bridget Jones Diary fans have see that #3 is in the works??? Follows Bridget's attempts to have a baby. LOVE that movie...I can't wait

It is closing in August :(
But the tour is still going right? That is what I read earlier this week.....:scared:

Oh that will be awesome. I ADORE those movies, they are so great. I think I have both of them but usually catch them on TV.

My mom took me to NYC when I graduated from HS many moons ago. It was awesome. We saw Les Miserables and Into the Woods with Bernadette Peters, ate at Tavern on the Green and the famous deli, I can't remember the name now and of course shopped. I'd love to take my family someday. Luckily, we live about 2 1/2 hours from Chicago so we get out big city fixes there. I wish we'd seen Wicked when it was still open there.

Look at your daughter! Too cute!:cutie:

Just realized that my Views to Response ratio is getting up there again. If you are lurking...say hello!!!!

Thats probably me refreshing the page to see if you've updated :lmao:

I've been slacking so here goes!

Not too much info...you can NEVER share too much info on the DISboards!!! So maybe you will be able to sell and move by the end of October :yay:

You can always book the package and then you'll have until the end of Sept to cancel it if need be. And your airfare credit if you have to cancel could be used toward your next trip right?

I'm not married to a Disney lover. I do the bills and plan all the vacations. I just tell him when to show up ;) :rotfl:

Isn't weird how much you tell people on here and how fast you become friends? I pay all the bills and plan all the vacations too but DH point-blank said my next vacation will not be to Disney but you and Jordan can feel free to go.

I didn't know you could rent lenses either! My main one is giving me trouble so I have been thinking about replacing it. Could it be because it gets way over-used/knocked against things/etc?

I'm so excited. My Goddaughter's bday party is Sat so I thought: perfect excuse to convince Aisling to try on all her Disney dresses. I said "oh let's try on all your dresses and see what still fits so we can pick the best one for the party" I threw the Disney dresses in the try on pile.

BOTH still fit!!!! :banana::banana::banana:

2 less things I need to sew for this trip!!!!

Woo-hoo for dresses that still fit! Very nice dresses too! BTW - I liked Piper's idea about measurements.

It is closing in August :(

I am still sad about this! It is such a good show I am glad we got to see it. I have been watching for deals for Mary Poppins but none have come that were cheap enough and at the right time for me to pull the trigger. Plus I am thinking about the Radio City Christmas show this year.

Since I did a 100 day dance...might as well continue the part and do a double digit dance

:banana::yay::banana::yay::banana::yay::banana::yay::banana::yay:

I will of course join you in the double-digit dance too! :cool1::banana::yay::woohoo::dance3:

Okay - I may be the culprit for some of these. I usually click on a thread whenever I notice a new post but I don't always have time to post a reply right then.

I am going to hijack your thread for a quick moment (hope you don't mind). I am attending Magic Meets and they are having a photo contest. I need help choosing a photo and would really appreciate input from everyone but especially you photography buffs. So if you have a moment, please click on the link below and help me choose.

Thanks!
Jen
