Our Trick AND Treat- DD's Surprise Bday Trip! 11/4 Get Movin'

Another rediculous update!!!!!

Aisling is now over 48 inches which I think means that she can get on every ride at Disney :scared1::banana::scared1::banana::scared1::banana::scared1:

See...I am both scared and excited.

Holy updates!!

Randy = Youuuuuuuuuuuuk!! Man you need to bring him to a game, you might get in free! :rotfl:

Your hotel sounds great! I'll have to keep that in mind if/when I ever go.

So you didn't go in the World of Disney store at all? :confused3

Aisling looks so cute with her AG doll.

I want to go too now! :goodvibes

:woohoo: for SW flights!
:woohoo: for Aisling being tall enough to ride!

good news all around! :thumbsup2

We've never gotten in free yet but there's always hope. ;) So funny you said that. Last year at MNSSHP, several people asked Randy if he was going as Youk for Halloween because he was only wearing a MNSSHP tshirt (with a Red Sox hat). And then this weekend, my MIL was going on and on and on about how ugly Youk is!!! I kept thinking: you better not let Randy hear you say that!!!

Hotel was fab! It was such a great spot. We walked EVERYWHERE. I thought we might need to take a couple of cab rides but we never did.

We didn't end up going to WOD. :sad2: Next time I guess.

Your NY trip sounds great!

My DD would love to go to AG. In fact there are a bunch of Mom's I know that are talking about going down to Chicago (our closest one if you call a 10 hour drive close). So today I called a bus company about renting a bus. Don't know if I have $4,500 plus the drivers hotel to do it though. So back to the drawing board.

Well if you ever want me to pick something up for you (I'm sure AG's international shipping costs are insane)...just let me know. We have one here you know.

Thank you!!!!

How is your crew????

I have decided to grace your PTR with my

1000th post!

Aren't you excited that you were selected for this honor? :lmao:

I owe you a long post with comments on your NYC trip. This is the first day I have spent much time on the DIS in a week. (Don't you hate when life gets in the way of the DIS?)

I have a few quick comments . . .

Your MIL makes me go :headache:! How dare she ruin Aisling's AG cover, just walk into your house, and everything else she does.

I can't believe Aisling is 48"!!!! That is so great that she can ride everything! I think Aisling and Jordan are only about 6 weeks or so apart in age (Jordan will turn 6 on Sept 10th). Jordan is only about 43" - maybe 44". Thanks for the FB congrats on her first lost tooth. The second is about to go any day now.

More comments to come later on your NYC mini-tr and photos (try to contain your excitement) and I may hijack your thread again and post a few of my photos (if you don't mind).

No diapers???? Oh that is just so exciting!!! Think of all the money you'll save and be able to put into the Disney account!!!

Congrats on scoring that airfare!! Feels good, doesn't it? :woohoo: :lmao:

Kathy

it does feel good. I keep checking because I'm nutty like that :rotfl2:

1000th post on my little ol' trip report!?!? :worship::worship::worship: Why thank you!

Aisling is very big for her age. She was born 6 weeks premature too (and was still 6 lbs 4 ozs!!!) I can't' keep up with her. Her school uniform runs 6-8 or 10-12 for next year. I think I'm going to have to order 10-12 tops or they'll be belly shirts by the end of the year!!! She has a tooth that has been loose for like 2 months. No action yet though! I hope she loses it here and not at summer camp.

Post away with pics. I welcome all pics and comments :thumbsup2

I'm a bad, bad, bad PTR writer!!! Sorry folks. Life has gotten in the way! I've been sick with some kind of broncchial thing for almost two weeks. I sound a lot worse than I feel but it's finally starting to get better. Still can't exert too much energy or I sound like I have asthma.

We've also been stepping up the house hunt and I've been going to viewings after work. I don't wish this process on my worst enemy. What a big pain! It was fun at first but now I'm just frustrated that I'm never going to find a house I like.

Saturday is Aisling's recital so I'll be boring you with more pics of my little ballerina soon!

Here are yet more pictures of my child like I promised!!! Recital went really well. Aisling is very proud of herself most importantly. The rest of the weekend I was completely consumed with house-hunting stuff. Keep your fingers crossed for us everyone! We may need it ;)

Backing up...I decided to put her hair in rollers the night before instead of curling it all with a curling iron. It worked. I still needed to touch up but it took me much less time. This is what her hair looked like just from the curlers

cutie patootie! :thumbsup2 If I ever have a daughter, I'd love to have her do some kind of dance class. Does Aisling love it??

Hey Kristine!

Love the new dance photos and those smiles! I am sure there are more on facebook but I can't access that from work so I figured I would comment here. I am glad to hear it went well and Aisling was proud of herself!

Hope you are finally feeling better. Crossing my fingers for your house hunting! We are looking for a new house. I don't mind looking for houses but am dreading selling ours. Keep us posted!

Oh you are trying to sell and buy? What a nightmare. I can't imagine the rollercoaster of that. We rent our house right now so we don't have anything to sell but of course now that we found a house we love...so do 2 other buyers :rolleyes1

Still loving those costumes! Very vibrant.

Glad to hear the recital went well. Ours isn't until the first weekend in June. I haven't even seen the costumes yet.

As I type, Eeoyre is dancing around the living room to the music from Cirque we bought last trip. He doesn't like me watching so he has set up a sheet in the doorway. He thinks I can't see him anymore with it up. But I can see his shadow when he's against the picture window. Anyhow my point is, (you didn't think I had one did you?) that it doesn't really matter what they are wearing, or where they are it's just amazing to watch your own child dance. It takes my breath away each time.
