Our town's Christmas parade is tonight and.........

DD(6) is going to be in it!!!!! This is her 4th year in dance and the studio has a float this year. There will be children from 4-16yo on it. They are all so excited! DD will be dressed all in white--layered with tights, socks, sweat pants, white shoes, a t-shirt, a turtle neck, sweatshirt, gloves and her tutu!!!!She will have silver sequin wristbands, silver strips down her left side from shoulder to waist and a silver headband with white feathers. All the other girls will be dressed similarly. I just hope they stay warm.. It is 50 degrees here right now and turning colder as the sun goes down, and the wind is terrible. Making it seem much colder. I am so excited for her!!!!!! I am trying to get her to take a little nap so she wont be so tired tonight, so wish us luck!!!!!

Isn't it fun when they are in the parade. My 2 dgrdd's and my dd were in ours last Sunday. They take Highland dancing (so do I but chose not to be in the parade, I just wanted to take pictures) so had tartans on and the classes outfit. The youngest dgrdd and my dd were on the float but my oldest dgrdd danced the whole way.
