My FIL called and said that our Park Hopper Tickets are here! Whoo Hoo! He ordered them through the military. He's on his way to pick us up so we can go with him to get them! Whoo Hooo!! Worked out well since the girls are off of school today!! I'm so excited! Yeah!!!!!

So exciting! Have a magical trip!

Okay, so now I have a question about the tickets... For some reason, I had in my mind that the tickets would be like the MVMCP tickets.. meaning, they would be like little credit cards... you know, plastic!? Each of our park hopper tickets have a different character on them, but they are paper. Hmmmmm.... Do they exchange them once you get there or something?

You don't exchange them. They're your actual ticket. They hold up very well. We went for 9 days last year and ours lasted all 9 days. At least for our December trip this year, we have TWO Minnie Mouse tickets so the girls won't fight over who gets to be Minnie and who has to be Goofy like they did last year.

Have a great time!

Thanks for responding! I actually just started a new thread on this ?! LOL

Woo! Just got ours the other day too. We ordered them thru the Disney website and they are plastic, with mickey and minnie on them, so cute!!:earsboy: :earsgirl:

Don't be bummed. :cheer2: You have some cute tickets, and they are a lot easier to tote around. We have individual plastic cards for each of us for our Health Care plan, and they are a pain in the butt to carry around all 6 of them.
:)

I always get excited when I get our tickets to.::yes:: :wave2:

I have some park hoppers left over with just the plusses on them form about 5 years ago and they are still like new. I keep them in the sleeve thing they came in

Yes - keep them in the sleeve if you got one - not all military outlets give a little sleeve. If you put them in a leather wallet without protection, or near a credit card, they can SOMETIMES lose their uumph (I guess the static and/or the mag strip on the credit card demagnatizes the strip on the ticket.) BUT - not to worry, the guest services people can take care of them for you if they do

And those paper tickets are pretty durable.

Even my new Annual Pass is made of paper.

Maddle

PS - be sure to photo copy them, or at least write down the code numbers on them, in case they get lost. The guest services people can help with that too, if they have enough information.
