Mom age 44 (disney afficionado)
DH age 43 (along for the ride)
DD age 15 (just as long as we have a wheelchair, life's okay)
DS age 10 (had a huge burning hole in his pocket the ENTIRE time)
First day
We arrived at Coronado Springs Resort about 4:00 Eastern time, got in line to check in, when CM Wade opened a new window down the counter. Jumped in his line, and was checked in. Wade was very nice, friendly and gave the kids Disney kid's magazines and such. Effiecient service.
We got unloaded and then let the kids swim in the Dig Site pool, which they loved! Dad watched them while Mom took many pictures of the resort. Ate at the pool eatery to make DH happy, kids loved the convenience, too. Almost forgot, DS also loved the spa. I apologize for the monologue everyone must have received, btw.
I was just glad to be out of the car with him! We actually took bets to see how long the others there might take to throw him out. Disney folks are made of stern stuff, though! He actually came out later by himself!
Day two
We were up early and ate at the Pepper Market. I believe my family just loves this place!
We arrived before 9:00, activated our annual passes, and were let in to wait at the rope drop at Liberty Square.
Getting there early makes a difference, too! By 1:00 we had done the following attractions: BTMRR, SPL MTN, POC, (DS and DD almost bought them out), JK (with FP), the treehouse, Tiki Birds, Aladdin, and the Xmas version of the Country Bears! Got a great laugh at the clueless couple who tried to get in via the Fast Pass line at JK, too. Tried to use their park hoppers, nope, tried to use their receipt for park hoppers, nope, finally gave up. I had to turn my head to keep from laughing out loud at the situation. The CM did a greater job than I would've in explaining to them, that no their park hoppers didn't give them that much privilege.
By this time, DD had gotten tired, so we caught the train around to the front, rented her a wheelchair, and set back out. Had a late lunch due to the crowds and tummy trouble on Mom's part (yuck), and ate at Columbia Harbor House finally. Nice lunch and atmosphere.
THen got a FP for HM, watched the 3:00 parade, did Hall of P., the did HM. Browsed in the Xmas shoppe.
THen caught the monrail to the poly, got to ride up front! Yeah! Kids loved that a lot. ATe at 'Ohanas. The food, the atmosphere and the servers were great. Had a great time.
We caught the buses just right all day. Had a great time.
Note here: I also gave a food report over in the food forum.
