Yes, I tried that. And there was crying and drama. And I was too tired to fight with her. She never even ended up watching it when we got back - sigh. Kids !!!

Life Update

So I made this little purse











And I posted photos on Facebook. And people got all crazy about them and now I have like 10 orders and it has been crazytown up in here.

So that is why I haven't updated. I have to get these orders filled before I have ANOTHER ankle surgery which is scheduled for next week. So I will update soon when I get a minute to breathe. After my surgery though I will be here a good bit. Because I will be stuck up in the bed for two weeks.

Stay with me !!!

Thanks Annie !! Yes, I hope this surgery makes things better. I just don't want to stay in this semi-handicap lifestyle. I prefer to be a more active person. Fingers crossed !!

Thanks Andy. I really hope so, too. I dread going through it again. It is VERY painful. But my doctor said my down time would be 6 weeks as apposed to the 4 months previously needed for the tendon repair. This is just a "revision" which means debridement of scar tissue.

It really is. They are using Clarix to promote healing and less scar tissue this time. Have you ever heard of them using that? I find it very interesting. I though you might know. I guess it must be something fairly new. There isn't much on the internet about it.

Day 8  Part 4

When I last left off, DD and I had just returned to the ship. DD ran up to see if she could catch her movie and it turned out they didnt have the 3D glasses out so she couldnt watch it.

We saw this when we got back to the room.



Yep. Luggage tags. Cue sad music &&

On the night before debarkation, you have to have you luggage outside your door with luggage tags on by 10:30 PM. You keep a carry on and then they take your luggage and it is there for you in a holding area  like a huge warehouse. They find your luggage very easily by the color and character on your tag. In our case  gray Daisy .

So I busied myself with packing while DD watched a movie. DH and DS came back and DS took off with his friends again. DH took DD to ride the Aqua duck some more. They came back and DD wanted to go to dinner with some of our friends and their kids. We said OK and so DH and I were on our own again.

Dinner that night was Royal Court again.



Bread service was six grain country bread, caramelized onions and tomato dip.



For an appetizer, DH got.

Dungess Crabmeat stuffed tomato  filled with crab meat salad, shredded red onion with grated fontina cheese and garlic-herb drizzle.



For my appetizer, I had.

Potato and Leek soup.



DH got a salad as well.

Edamame and Napa Cabbage salad  with chopped bok choy, shredded carrots, radishes, sesame seeds and rice wine vinaigrette.



For his entrée he got

Roasted Red Snapper  served on a bed of fennel, onions, sweet peppers and Yukon gold potato ragout.



And I had

Roasted Filet of Beef Wellington  covered with mushroom stuffing, wrapped in puff pastry, with fingerling potatoes, baby vegetables and a Cabernet black truffle jus.



This was very good !!

For dessert I had

See Ya Real Soon Sweet Temptations  A trio of celebration cake, chocolate decadence and cappuccino mousse tartlet



And DH got the Baked Alaska



After dinner I head back to the room to get our suitcases ready and DH went to get DD. DD wanted to see Frozen AGAIN, so DH took her to see it. When everyone got back in, we drifted off to sleep. Our last night on the ship.
