With the cost of tickets and dining increasing year after year, it has become more and more difficult to afford a trip to WDW. We had to cancel this same trip (Dec 3rd-7th) last year, but are now planning WDW vacation #7 for Dec 3rd-7th, 2018 on a shoestring budget.
Our priorities this time were the Candlelight Processional, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Animal Kingdom. For 4 nights at Pop Century, two 2-day park tickets, and the dining plan, our total came to $1599 which we feel is a reasonable value budget without feeling disappointed. This is our plan:
One full day at EPCOT with counter service lunch at Yorkshire Fish and Chips and the Candlelight dining package at Garden Grill.
One full day at Animal Kingdom with a late breakfast at Tusker House and dinner at Flame Tree BBQ.
Our third day will include spending the afternoon at Disney Springs then a late lunch/early dinner at Chef Mickey's before Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
What do you think?
