Our SW experience

We used SW last week and had a good experience with them. We flew out of Hobby in Houston.

On the flight to Orlando..it was ordinary. On the return flight...well, we missed it! Ouch!

SW did everything they could to book us the on next flight. We were on standby but we needed six seats so we weren't sure if we were going to get all the seats. Again, SW did a great job getting us home!

We paid 230 per person. I haven't come across those $99 deals so please do share!

Do they show movies on SW?

Yikes! I would have freaked if we missed our flight...I bet 6 stand by passengers were thrilled tho! What type of penalty did SW incurr for the missed flight?

No penalty. They waived it. We had the nicest people helping us!

No...no movies but we were entertained with other things. We read magazines, listened to CD's or just "chatted." Besides, we traveled with a baby so seeing a movie uninterrupted is not an option for us! LOL

Nice to know that they were so accommodating. I am flying to WDW on Friday, (staying at Saratoga Springs) using SW for the first time out of Philly. I'm looking forward to it....I am told the service is excellent.
