Well, ok, it wasn't our project, per se, short of hiring people and paying the bills :teeth: , but still -- it's done. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Storage area (done before any other renovations started):

Wow! It turned out really nice. So when is the party to break in the new bar? :woohoo: ;)

Beautiful. And nice & bright too. I love the colors & stonewall.
Sort of what I had envisioned for the walkout basement in the condo we were going to buy.

That looks great!! I like the door that looks like french doors but only one side opens. Also the outside patio looks wonderful-you need a little fire pit for cool fall evenings (hard to think about when it is 100 degrees!!).

When are you shopping for furniture??

Our firepit is on the main patio (out and to the left of the pic) :thumbsup2

Furniture, as well as the new TV / Surround Sound / etc that I want will have to wait until we've saved up some more money. Right now, we have some furniture down there (moved after we took these pics) from other areas around the house. :)

BTW, the walkout basement started as a window as big as the one to the left of the entertainment center. They dug it out and cut the wall to put the door in. :thumbsup2

Party's at our house. :cool1: :cool1:

That is very, very nice! I love the bar and the entertainment center. Oh and I LOVE the patio and landscaping! Congratulations! :thumbsup2

Wow.....great for your family!

My favorite part is the backyard/landscaping/rocks. Anyone can have a great interior but most people don't give 2 thoughts about the lay of the land and how best to landscape it.

LoveLoveLOVE the landscaping and patio...very pretty!!! :thumbsup2

I am VERY impressed. Love it! Can you come over and do mine now?

Gorgeous!!

And a question: that little playhouse in the background of the 6th pic...is it yours? I SOOOOOOO want one for DD when she is older...

Yep, it's ours :) :) It's not so little, too. I can stand up inside it and have plenty of room above my head. My DW's godfather built it based on a plan from the Internet when DS1 was little. We actually moved it from our old house to the new house (a long story that involved flat bed trucks and forklifts  )

Thanks! :)

We wanted to match it with our patio on the other side of our backyard, which we had done a couple years ago:

:teeth: I couldn't tell from your pictures, what type of ceiling did you put in? We would like to do our basement in a few years, and I loathe drop ceilings.

Also, where do you keep the stuff that used to occupy the basement. I envision doing something like yours but that would leave us very little room for storage (I will definitely have to through a lot of stuff, but we still have some big things like the X-mas and Halloween decorations that take up a lot of space).

Thanks for sharing, it looks beautiful
