DD's game just got canceled! Alleluia!!! She went to a sleepover last night with a few other players from her team...I just called to tell her it was canceled and the mom answered...I could hear the screams of joy in the background when the girls heard the news!!

Still waiting to hear about other DD's game and DS's baseball practice. Oh please oh please of please be canceled!!!!

Good for you. Last saturday morning, dd's game was a mixture of sleet, snow, sunshine, rain, then repeating again. She plays in an hour from now and it's cold and windy (ugh!),but no precipitation.

Ours was cancelled too...bob was happy because he has a nasty cold (missed school yesterday) and I wasn't going to let him play in this weather!

DS's team had their game. It is cold and damp here. Unfortunately only 7 members of the team showed up. (One was at a church retreat and one has a broken foot, but the other 5 just no showed.) The other team had all 14 show up. We lost 4-0. Not too bad, all things considered.

How in the world do people in the north get accustomed to the cold? It makes my fingers hurt so much when it gets really cold. Of course, thank goodness, it doesn;t get THAT cold here too often.
