Kelly, I got my card today. I'm glad I started my diet a couple of days ago, or I would have taken it personally

DH and I had a great time for our anniversary. We spent a couple of nights in Monterey. We took some Bailey's with us, and had warm chocolate chip cookies and Bailey's hot chocolate by the fireplace in our room. It was very romantic. But now you know why the diet had to start.

No WDW for us anytime soon, but DL is coming up in February.

Yup. He's very busy taking care of his parents! His mom had to have surgery on her foot, which was in really bad shape. She still may lose one toe. That man has a spot reserved for him in heaven!

Yeah, for so many years, when DH and I didnt take vacations (16 to be exact...) I didnt know the joy of having something to look forward to - now I do and I NEED it!!

Dh & I never took vacations either. My parents never took us anywhere except a long weekend here or there. I like them now!

I am having fun chatting, but I have to get my kids moving into bed time mode...they are taking advantage of me being on the computer and thinking I am oblivious....it's time to be a mommy/drill sergeant!.....Night Hugh, Night T.

ITs got a HUGE lazy river - I lazy rivers and yet dont know if the Beach club will ever happen for us, so this will be great. You and T (and everyone else) can come too!!! Just picture us floating around the lazy river w/our lime green margeritas in hand!!! AHHHHHHH!

We were such losers , but now I have made a vow that is kind of like the one DisUnc made after 9/11 (his is WDW every year...) We will do SOME vacation every year that we can in any way mange it - life is WAY too short. ( You'll notice on my siggie the trips started in 2001....then we missed a couple right off - but now back on track! )

That's great! You are right...life is to short and SOMETHING always seems to come up.

ps - I dont really count 93 - our inlaws too us and it was NOT good! - and the 7 years before that ,,,nothing......

So what do you do in the meantime? Take lots of painkillers? Is it tough to figure out with all your other medications? Glad your living room looks festive, even if you don't feel so festive.

well .. painkillers are a problem for me ... allergic to: codiene, morphine, demerol (and NOW percocet) SO i have a script for Dilaudid (wicked stuff) -- i need it on hand for Kidney stones as well so there it sits.
The tylenol I CAN take barely touches the pain so somedays i get relief the only way that works ... a sling.
