We went to a comedy club fund raiser last night for hockey. It was a lot of fun. Both the comedians were very DETROIT.. It was great. I have to go to one next weekend for the other hockey team.. Screech from saved by the bell will be there. I heard he's an We will see.. We have hockey practice today and thats it. I'm hoping to get :laundry: done today (the yucky kind) who knows I may even get the good kind done today too. I may make some more hard candy too. Who knows I'm pretty open today..

We just got home from basketball. PD's DD12(mileyfan1) and Beatrice's DD9 and my dd11 are on the same team. I think it went into four overtimes...very exciting game, but we lost It was fun to watch though..the girls did so well! PD's daughter got the basket to tie the game in the first place, right at the very end, She did awesome

Tonight PD, Beatrice, and PD's friend and I are all going out for dinner. PD is taking us all out because she does that once a year for all the God Mothers of her daughters. Isn't she awesome. I can't wait, it should be a lot of fun!!!

Hi, everyone, did you all go to bed already?!?
I should be sleeping, but I am like that commercial they used to show, with the kids that are "too excited" to sleep... I did try, stayed in the bed tossing and turning for about an hour before I came out to the office and jumped online. Less than 11 hours left now until we are due to take off, I need to be up and abou in about 7 hours. Oh, well, I guess I will just be tired later! But I guess since I am the only one here too, I will try again to get some sleep! Everyone, have a good week, T, try to behave!! (yeah, right) and we'll try to get on the computer next Friday night or Saturday when we get back.!

That's how I was before we left....too excited to sleep! Now we're exhausted, but have no time to sleep! WDW is worth it, though!

Yes this will be a family trip and if mom's going then we ALL go..

We'll get adjoining rooms for mom and ALL the kids and then Kelly and I will get adjoining room on the opposite side of the hotel for us..

Think she'll take my kids too????

We are supposed to get just a light dusting here, but it is sleeting now. Our Niece was just born on Sunday, and we have been dying to go see her, but it isn't looking promising right now


Good luck on getting Christmas Eve off! I just switched that with New Year's Eve...we never go out then anyway, but we have the coolest service on Christmas Eve.....our church was built in 1747 so the caldlelight Nativity service is just amazing.

Congrats on the new niece. I'm actually off both Eves, but it would be nice not to have to use my leave!

I am behind so may not have everyone on here. It's been busy and hectic for me, which I'll try to explain in another post...if I have the time!

So with any luck at all, in 20 hours the plane will be taking off.....

BD just came home with the letter too.

We haven't heard the official word about our agency yet.

Yuppers we will arrive the Sunday of your Thanksgiving and stay for a FULL two week holiday that way we are there for our the week of our B-Days as well

Hmmmm...do you put anything on the pork chops - broiling them sounds quick and easy!

I'll have to bake some potatoes some time now too!!

We do shake & bake too-- chicken isn't as salty as the pork. Just a tip, the potatoes are done when you can poke them easily with a fork.

I usually just sprinkle a little bit of Lawrys Season Salt on them before I pop them in the oven. I like the shake and bake too, except if my brother in law does it, cause he wants to double up the seasoning, they sometimes get a bit too seasoned... Yes, VA, you really need to do them, so easy and SO good!! We are big potato eaters around here, so we do baked, mashed, fried, pretty much anyway we can get them. I swear Meagan thinks potatoes go with every meal, the other night we were having mac and cheese at my sister's and Meagan wanted us to add Mashed potatoes to the menu!!

We love potatoes too. Our favorite is red skinned mashed--MMMM.

We've used Shake n Bake.

We've also dipped them in egg and then dipped them in either bread crumbs(both seasoned or unseasoned) or Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs.

And we've broiled them plain and then added BBQ sauce for the last few minutes.


Baked potatoes are really easy!! I make them on the grill too!! they definately need to be wrapped in foil for that!

We've also cooked them in baked beans in the crock pot--very yummy and tender!

WOW! That PD is awesome! Dinner was fun. My favorite dinner of the year! We just laugh all night!
